What songs do you think are overplayed, or been played so much over and over again? To me there's 4 songs.

This one is played every single time I'm in the car. I mean, Every. Single. Time. It's not that I hate it or something.

Colbie Calliat - "I Do"

Other songs are

Cee-Lo Green - "Forget You"
Adele - "Rolling in the Deep"

and

Bruno Mars - "Grenade"

Here's mine, so what's yours?

Taylor Swift - "You Belong With Me"

I don't hate it, it just comes up way too much on the radio.

Last summer, I heard Katy Perry's "California Gurls" pretty much every single day. Every. Single. Day. And I don't even regularly listen to the radio.

Agreed on 'California Gurls'. Now it's the Script's "For the First Time" that's being played over and over again.

I got another one,

Maroon 5 -"Never Gonna Leave This Bed"

Cee-Lo Green - "Forget You"
Adele - "Rolling in the Deep"

I'm gonna have to agree. Don't get me wrong, they're both terrific songs, but I've heard them both a few too many times.

Bruno Mars - "Grenade"

As far as I'm concerned, if a Bruno Mars song gets played at least once, it's overplayed.
I really can't come up with anything else. I don't listen to pop radio much.

I don't listen to much radio these days but "Closer to the Edge" by 30 Seconds to Mars has been constantly flogged to death. Ditto with Gaga, Ke$ha, Perry, Bruno, Cruz, Swift, etc...

I don't listen to the radio since 95% of the music they play is just new mainstream pop-garbage.

As for overplayed songs, Queen songs are used pretty much all the time. They kinda suck in my opinion. Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) are so much better.
Also, the Requiem for a Dream theme is used in almost every movie trailer these days.

I think pretty much anything Lady Gaga, "OMG" by Will. I. Am, most older Taylor Swift songs. Grenade also has been played a few too many times. I'm not gonna lie, I like most of these songs, but the radio stations have played them so much, it's annoying.

E.T. by Katy Perry. It sucks, and all of her other songs are better. Also, Just the way you are. I swear, every day i hear someone call in and request it for their lover. The song isnt special any more. So stop calling in.

Anything off Kings of Leon's Only By the Night. Again, I'm not knocking it- it's a pretty good album and it gave KoL the commercial success they deserved, but if I hear "Use Somebody" one more time, things are gonna get ugly.

Waka Waka by Shakira, during the World Cup. Gosh, every single channel kept playing that song over and over again whenever they talked about the tournament. It would drive anyone nuts. :/

I hate that song by some bitch about how much she hates money. Can't go one day without hearing that atleast twice.

FRI-DAY FRI-DAY! GOWWTTA GET DOWN ON FRI-DAY! FUM FUM FUM FUM FUM!

EVWYBODY LOOKIN FOWARD TO DA WEEKEND

I say, Malaysian radio is oversaturated with mainstream pop. I mean more tasteful pop would be Gorillaz's DARE or stuff by Deadmau5.

I really enjoy Katy Perry's music, but her music gets so ridiculously overplayed. I couldn't escape Teenage Dream even when I went to Japan, and Firework has been consistently overused for pretty much anything since it's release.
