Anyone here played Owlcat's Pathfinder series?
Pathfinder WOTR is really cool and epic from start to finish. The only problem was bugs LOL. But the story and characters and amount of choices were cool.
I liked their Rogue Trader too, I played quite a bit ago so I was underwhelmed with the ending though, I heard it was improved since. I did not play the DLCs either, I am curious if they are worth it

I never played their games before but I'm interested in their upcoming game The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, as is promises to be similar to Mass Effect - though, since that universe has no aliens (afaik), it's not gonna hit the same. Still, I hope that game delivers as a fun sci-fi ARPG.

The only game I've played from the studio so far is Pathfinder: Kingmaker, though I didn't finish it because of how complex the Pathfinder rule system is. I do plan to try it again some time and hopefully get far enough to grasp the mechanics and kingdom management well enough with a good character build to finish it, even despite how long I've heard the game is. I also own the sequel, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, to try sometime, as well. Not too keen on their other games, and I'm not quite sure if I've been interested enough or not, but I may.

The ending of Rogue Trader was improved with the DLCs but it's still a huge downer because 40k. The most recent one at least makes it so the Necrons don't just come out of nowhere during the final act.

My favorite one, closest thing to a "good" ending I've seen: iconoclast, didn't let Nomos merge with the shard, hunted down all the chaos cults and made peace with the craft world eldar. The Imperium eventually comes in with a crusade fleet and wipes out the Von Valancius dynasty, but my worlds remain bastions of freedom and xenos cooperation for centuries and chaos never finds root on any of them again. They could kill me but they could never tear down what I had built.

I bought a huge Humble Bundle of Baldurs Gate & Owlcat games awhile back. I intended to get more into TTRPG-type games after playing Baldur's Gate 3, but I kinda fell off.
I've played only a few hours of Kingmaker. I like the art for the game. Character creation was insanely complex for me.

Iconoclast FTW, that was the alignment I chose during my play through too. I could
Yeah the necron stuff was barely even foreshadowed before, good to know.they improved that.

Yep that's Pathfinder. Thankfully there is the auto level up system that speeds things up later if you don't want to get into the minutiae of various builds
