This includes any option that isn’t the standard 5-7 business days, meaning overnight shipping, one day shipping, or two day shipping.

The express shipping options are usually pricey, so I’m curious if anyone actually uses them outside of emergencies. I personally haven’t used an express shipping option outside of Prime.

It depends on thing I'm buying. For Amazon, I'm more likely to click on the Amazon Day shipping especially if its just groceries or something I buy on a recurring basis.

But if I am importing something, I'll probably expedite it because I'm pretty impaitent and the difference could be a few daya via plane or a few weeks via boat, lol.

For my Magic the Gathering orders, I always pick the delivery to the closest place to my home, and since it's not urgent, it's a cheap additional shipping cost. Best part of doing that is also making sure I buy something there to support the local shop, in my case a bakery.

i go for the best balance of shipping cost to delivery time. not gonna pay like $50 for guaranteed next day delivery from overseas but i also won't pay like $5 for 'we put it it on the slowest boat when there's space on one and it'll probably take two months to arrive'.

standard shipping unless for whatever reason the standard shipping is going to get it delivered to me in like three weeks or whatever, which i think is stretching it a bit. it also really depends on the cost of shipping too, relative to the item(s) i'm purchasing. if it's something minor, whatever, no harm in waiting, it's not going to kill me. if it's a major item that i need, i'd probably elect for quicker shipping times.

It really depends on just how much more expensive it is, but I definitely opt for it more often than I should. I'm impatient, and I get excited... especially about new clothes.

A always go for the cheapest option. Especially if I'm ordering from overseas because oof standard shipping costs to Australia are ROUGH as it is, no need to add even more expense on top of it lmao. I don't mind waiting a lil longer for parcels.

The top three options sum up my thoughts well. I usually use standard shipping, especially with the huge price difference between lower tiers and express shipping. I'll only use express shipping if it's available as part of a service I occasionally subscribe to for a month or two when I need a lot of items (like Amazon Prime), or in emergencies, which fortunately don't happen a lot. I like saving cost on shipping lol.
