I'm not sure if I understand a few things.

First, of all do you have to have six Pokemon inorder to transfer?

Also, where would you find a Pokemon like Articuno?

The six Pokémon are from the GBA games, and you find Articuno in FR, LG, and XD.

I don't know for certain if you need six Pokémon in order to do the transfer.

And I've never been able to get into the Pal Park itself (due to a lack of Japanese GBA games), but there's probably like, a cave area or something for Articuno. Or another snow area? Perhaps they're more or less based on the area set by the FR LG Pokédex (like Charmander would be mountainous terrain, Bulbasaur would be plains, Pikachu is forest, etc.)?

Hmm, you are right a cave or snow area would probably be where Articuno will be. I didn't know, because I wasn't sure how many more places were in Pal Park compared to the pictures on Serebii.net.

From what I've read, it's veru similar to the Safari Zone in RSE; a desert area, some grass, some water. Regice was found in grass, (I've seen this) so I assume Articuno would be too.

Articuno is found in the grass in the mountain area. By the way, anyone know where Mew goes when you transfer?

My guess is there are a LOT more places than in the pictures on Serebii.

Actually, I think there's only one area that Serebii doesn't have the picture for in his section on the Pal Park. The second picture shows the ocean area, the third the lake and mountain areas, the fourth the grass area. And there's a forest area to the north-west of the grass area that is not shown.

Edit:

Bulbapedia has similar pictures. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pal_Park

The mountain area is juuuuust to the southwest of the lake. And the forest area is to the northwest of the grass area.

Actually, it's not as big as the Safari Zone. From where you enter, there is a spacious grass area. Above that is a small mountain area with grass, and after that is a small pond for Water Pokemon. To the right of the first area is a beach-like environment, with another body of water.

Those pics are the ones Coronis took for Serebii.net, nice to see BMG credits :p
