Hello! This idea came about as a blast of inspiration whilst needing a massive overhaul of TE:TQTK. A majority of the same characters and intended plot lines will be used, but with a more in-depth review of my objectives.
This occurs pre-Ash and co, meaning that it is obviously anime-oriented, in exception to some elements of the games that will be definitely incorporated from time to time.
Disclaimer: Pokémon, belonging to me? I'd wish.
Onwards!
The secret has never been how to die.
Since the beginning of time, people and Pokémon alike have developed traits, adapting to better suit themselves in their environments.
Why do Tropius have such long necks? Why do Girafarig possess protracted tongues?
The first battle between the Hoenn legendaries began a telltale clash between flood and drought, deluging forests and prairies only to have them dried up shortly afterward. Continued existence of these creatures required them to start stretching their necks and extend their tongues to reach whatever little green that remained high above.
You see, the key, is survival.
The survival, of the fittest.
Heredity of these traits coupled by their production of pokémules – migrated particles of inheritance in Pokémon and humans – drew the fine line between life and death, endurance and demise.
Some would argue this theory of Pokénesis is hokum. The enhanced traits will not be able to be passed on down from generation to generation.
But what if it truly is somehow the means to our existence? What if the manufacture of pokémules could be perpetrated in some way?
It would only make sense that the weak lack the crucial qualities of survival. Only pathetic creatures as they would preach: “The secret is how to die.”
They share no desire to live. They subsist in their hopeless lives, one day after the next, only to wish in brethren for a peaceful death sentence.
That is why I will create the Pokémon necessary to rid the world of all weakness.
I will cleanse the world with the greatness of power.
I will be creation.
Now, I apologise that the prologue is extremely short, but the chapters to come will be incredibly longer, I assure you.
Thoughts, suggestions, and constructive criticisms will be greatly appreciated.
