Paradox Drive Themed Booster Pack announced for Pokémon TCG Pocket, set to launch mid-next week

A new trailer has provided players with their first look at Pokémon TCG Pocket's next Themed Booster Pack, Paradox Drive, which is set to launch worldwide next week on Wednesday May 27th at 6:00pm (PDT) / Thursday May 28th at 1:00am (UTC). A corrosponding Japanese website update has also revealed a selection of events coming to the game throughout the next month.

Paradox Drive
As the name suggests, Paradox Drive will focus on Pokémon found in the Paldea region, which was introduced in the Gen 9 games Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and in particular on Paradox Pokémon. This includes Pokémon ex cards for Koraidon, Miraidon, Iron Bundle, and Flutter Mane, as well as a variety of Full Art cards, and other Pokémon and characters from the Paldea region. A number of the cards shown in the trailer reuse artwork from the physical Trading Card Game, including Full Art and Supporter cards.

Events mentioned in the Japanese website announcement for the upcoming month include:

Paradox Drive Emblem Event
In this event held from late May to early June, players compete in battles against other players to earn Emblems that can be displayed on their profile.

Bonus Week Missions
In this event in early June, players can tackle special missions to obtain a variety of items such as hourglasses and more.

Ceruledge ex Drop Event
In this event in mid-late June, players can take on special solo battles to obtain a variety of new promo cards from Promo Pack B Series Vol. 5, including a Ceruledge ex.

Wonder Pick Event
In this event running in mid-late June, players will be able to obtain new promo cards such as Sableye and Floragato. A variety of in-game items will be obtainable using shop tickets acquired by completing missions, including a binder cover and display board themed around Sableye.
