No, not like beer pong; I mean video games with hot four player action. Remember way back when before online play came out and you had to play with people face to face? Well, which of those was your favorite?

When I think of party games there are two that stick out in my mind the most would be Caveman Games and Wario Ware: Mega Party Games. While I'm sure most of you are familiar with Wario Ware, it's likely the prodigious NES title Caveman games was absent from your last group gaming session.

It's a fairly simple game. The best thing about it, aside from the inane Neanderthal Olympiad, is it is four players and no Four Score needed. Games include Dino Vault, Saber Race, Clubbing, Fire Starting, Mate Toss, and Dino Racing. Very stupid, but very fun.

I enjoyed Kirby Air Ride when I play a four player game.

Obvious answer here, but pretty much any version of Mario Party or Mario Kart. Those games meant to be enjoied with other people.

Super Smash Bros (any of them). Fun, addictive, and really satisfying to beat your friends at.

Also, Rock Band. 'Nuff said.

My favorites for 4 players include:

SSBB
Mario Party 8
Mario and Sonic at the Olympics
Kirby Airride

Pokémon can be fun if your friends have the game. Really fun. Capture the flag in the underground is wicked. Trust me.

Super Mario Smash Bros. Brawl is pretty awesome.

Rock Band and Guitar Hero: World Tour are classics.

everyone appears to be saying new four player games. That way I choose mario kart wii.

I spent a good few weekends playing Blades of Steel (NES) with friends. I was better at the fighting partss than I was at the actual hockey parts.

Nintendo 64: Snowboard Kids, Donkey Kong 64, Goldeneye 007, Pokemon Stadium 2 for the minigames (my fave: Delibird Delivery), Diddy Kong Racing, Star Wars: Podracer, Tony Hawk: Pro Skater on H.O.R.S.E.(the first two),

Playstation 2: Socom Navy Seals, Champions of Norrath, Champions Return to Arms, GTA San Andreas co-op rampages

Playstation: Star Wars Masters of Teras Kasi (a Star Wars fighting game)

Gamecube: Burnout, Red Faction II, Mario Party (the last two), Zelda Four Swords

SEGA Genesis: BattleToads/Double Dragon, Gunstar Heroes, Mortal Kombat (I was never skilled at it)

Xbox 360: Castle Crashers

Arcade: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1989; April gets kidnapped so save her), The Simpsons (Maggie gets kidnapped by Mr. Burns), X-Men, Power Stone
