We all have seen the match between Hariyama and Regirock. So what dou think will be the result of this match?

I really would like Brandon win because Paul will be mad because Ash beat him and Paul couldn't.

Let it be the Cynthia shutdown all over aga- okay maybe not that humiliating.

But Brandon's a badass. Hariyama or not, Brandon's won with Regirock with a type disadvantage before. So I would very much hope Brandon comes out the winner. We wouldn't want him coming back after over 100 episodes looking like a chump~ especially since this pretty much has to be a grudge match of some sort (theory or no theory in play) since Paul never said anything about going through Kanto's Battle Frontier, he sure as hell can't be doing that and Sinnoh simultaneously, and he'd need the other six Symbols to "officially" battle Brandon as it is. It's another instance of Paul needing to be put in his place by an elder, perhaaaaaps...

And grudge matches are always fun. We'd probably actually see some real frustration out of Paul for once (and yeah, Ash coming around is only gonna make it worse - but it'll spice up that rivalry!). That'll definitely be a good way to make things interesting before the League.

I think Paul will lose If he doesn't listen to Ash."To win a fight you have to become ONE WITH YOUR POKEMON" And I don't see Paul bonding with his pokemon. Its like he's just using them.

Not every strong trainer bounding with his pokemon. I like how Paul uses power to face power, he is better than Ash if we come to battle strategy.
what Ash can do is saying" dodge then use quick attack", Does even that a strategy?

I think Paul would lose but after an epic battle not just that easy.

I think paul won. I am using past tense cause well it shows the battle pyramid and I doubt paul went all the way to kanto during this timeframe.

I'm thinking that's most likley what will happen that's how Ash won, it helped pikachu get the motivation to unfreeze itself and imdeatly kill regice

If you had paid attention to the preview...

The Battle Pyramid FLIES. It flew and is landing in Snowpoint. How can you tell? There's snow on the tress in the preview. Since Brandon will be involved with Regigigas, this is in the PRESENT.

why does paul have a hariyama? thts kind of a random pokemon, he should of gotten a type tht would have an advantage against regirock

Uh, Hariyama is a fighting type, it's super effective against ALL the Regis.

Paul doesn't have an all-powerful Pikachu or the Kanto trio like Ash does, so I think he'll lose.

Ah yeah i guess your right i saw those as cherry trees blossoming but yeah. I think that paul will win.

I think Jindai will win. He's an extremely powerful trainer, and he really pushed Satoshi to his limit, and beat him twice. Given that, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect Shinji to lose.

Either Paul is going to lose or the match gets interrupted before its over. I can't see Brandon actually losing.

Your right, I really can't see Brandon losing either, he is one tough trainer. And how is a fighting type strong against regirock? Its strong against registeel and I think regice. Pauls torterra would have fun with regice. Either this or it will be a draw, with Paul slightly worse off

Fighting moves are super effective against all the Regis, even 'Gigas.

Excuse me, but what battle are you talking about?

Were there soem hints in the recent Japanese episodes that Paul was going to challenge Brandon?

As I only watch the US episodes, I don't know what's going on in the Japan, of course. So, it would be nice if someone could inform me ^^

In Dp 120, they showed some clips of upcoming episodes, one was of a Shinji vs Jindai battle.

Anyway, I want Shinji to lose and I want Jindai to be his dad. And anyway, I can't really see Jindai losing.

There are clips of future episodes in the latest clip show in Japan, DP 120. It shows the Battle Pyramid flying to Snowpoint to awaken Regigiggas, along with Brandon obviously. It also shows Paul battling Regirock, commanded by Brandon, with his Hariyama.

Should be a fun match to watch if given the proper amount of time but I don't see how Paul could beat Brandon on his 1st try. Brandon is all about forcing lessons onto the youth, if someone as corrupted and power mad as Paul gets the win he won't get to lecture and probably will break down into tears. If Brandon is Pauls daddy though, I think it would help explain why Paul is like he is, someone as lecturing as Brandon telling you, you have to be friends with the pokes would drive any rebellious kid in the opposite direction.

I reacon if Paul loses he'll blame it on the fact he isn't packing 3 legendaries and complain if its all about being friends with the pokes why didn't Brandon just use his Ninjask against him (ironically both have owned at one time or own a Ninjask (i think Paul caught one) and it doesnt suit either of them.hmm) and will decide that crippling Ash in the league will prove his path is still right (though he will start to doubt himself slightly) and if Paul wins, Brandon will give Ash the task of beating him in the league to prove him wrong.
