Paying Homage to Brock?

Remember after the Best Wishes/Black and White series ended there were two special episodes one of them focusing on Cilan meeting Brock while in Johto? Do you think something like that will happen again after Ash's journey in Kalos is finished? Maybe Brock visits Kalos to help some sick Pokémon and meets Clemont and Bonnie.

I think the writers should implement this idea into the show and it happens after every journey of Ash's ends as a way to remember Brock as Ash's first male traveling companion (Misty was Ash's first traveling companion ever.) and it would just be nice to see Brock from time to time.

Or maybe this idea isn't good or somethin think so?

I'm not sure if this would be right just because he was the first companion. Out of all of Ash's friends, Brock is the one that stayed for the most time. Because of this, I'd rather see any other previous main character before him, at least for now.

It would be certainly nice and considerate that longest lasting traveling companion of Ash gets some tribute to his existence, Acknowledgement of everything he brought to pokemon series in terms of comedy, enjoyable dynamic, help he provided to Ash and wisdom, experience in helping resolve all kind of unpleasant situations.

It would be also nice to prevent that way that Brock falls down in oblivion to point of new generations of kids not even knowing he existed getting update. Because that can happen if his legacy stops being nurtured.

Most of all i would be interested to see continuation of Brock own story. His career of studying and working in becoming pokemon doctor(hes not one yet), if there were changes in his pokemon roaster, how is love life going and maintain connection and friendship to Ash. Being used in some relevant capacity in pokemon series in future not ceasing to exist.

However while i like Brock, he's not exactly on top of priorities out of characters from past which got replaced i want to come back.

Because there are others who have been forgotten and ignored for far longer, did not lasted nearly as much in pokemon series. And have more open questions and unfinished things in their stories. Not getting updates or any role in pokemon for very, very long time.

Like original poke girl(Misty) who is entirely abandoned and forgotten for more than 10 full years like her friendship with Ash, impact left on series, unfinished story and dreams was never there.

Followed by May, Max, Tracey etc.

Granted this shouldn't be misunderstood, because i love Brock and i would like to see him back not fading away forever from anime. But i feel there are other past main characters who are in bigger need of coming back and paying respect to their existence right now. Characters i miss more.

p.s. Still if Brock was ever to return for something more substantial than small appearance(like traveling in Ash company again), i think perfect opportunity would be if orginal trio of Ash, Misty and Brock ever gets reunited being part of one more adventure together. That is if writers decide to go down that alley having things kinda come full circle if were talking about final pokemon saga.

Heck yeah, he's the only good male companion. Cilan and Tracey were great but didn't have much time and Clemont..... is HORRIBLE.

I'd do anything to get Brock back on the cast.
