They took it away in DPPt but maybe it will return in HGSS.

Now dont get me wrong, unlimited bad space is great, but having every item in your bag is just too... you know.... jam packed. I mean if I take an item off my pokemon then i have to scroll all the way down, just to put it on another one. This gets really irritating if you have alot of items, that being my case.

So basically what im saying is that they either bring back the PC or increase bag scrolling speeds, or anything else that will make it easier.

So now, DISCUSS. Would you like the PC back?

Yes, I would like PC item storage back, but increased bag scrolling speed would work too.

Well, it killed the free potion at the beginning that I always liked, but I have no issue with the bottomless bag.

Of course, I only really used item storage for that stupid master ball.

I agree that it's too packed.

However I feel this could easily be solved with a "Hold Item" section in the bag.

16 Plates AND 16 type boosting items is a little much in addition to all the other crap lumped into one miscellaneous section of the bag. (plus all the other crap you get as hold items ex, leftovers, power___, etc)

Eh. Bottomless bags worked a little better IMO, but I think it could be better. Faster scrolling helped, and maybe there could be more categories of items to help even out the sorting.

I think they should handle it like they did with the pokedex. Give us a scrollbar and arrange the items into a table with five items to a row. That would make scrolling way easier.

That would work actually. Maybe they should only make it 4x4 though, so there's more space to put the name of the item you're looking for. Although, in one of the screenshots from the last batch in CoroCoro, I saw a 3D model of a trainer on the top screen with a highlighted bag, and what looked like a regular item menu on the bottom.

The bottomless bag is probably one of the best additions yet.

You don't have to worry about leaving something in the PC because it is always with you. Another thing, in 3rd gen what was really annoying was that if you found an obscure item and you had no room you couldn't pick it up. Which meant you had to fly to a PC and then come back again.

Ok, people dont seem to be getting my point. What I mean is that you have both the bottomless bag and the PC. It would make things a bit easier along with faster scrolling or a full revamp.

@ Blazaking EX:

Yeah, by all means the Item PC should return. I just want easier scrolling too. I dunno, as long as it's not a pain to do whatever Game Freak decides on.

I'd honestly like to see the Storage work like the screeens of the new pokedex (Won't happen probably) or at least group items like you can in your bag "Medicine" "Items" "Poke Balls" etc... Actually how much items could the PC storage hold in GSC and R/S/E? I never saw the point of replacing it with Ball capsules.

This is the best post here. Either that, or fit Hold Items in the Battle Items section, which is otherwise empty. Who uses the X-Stat Items? Anyone? Guess not. Other than that, only the Flutes other than Black and White are in it.

I wouldn't mind the PC, but yep. It's easier to just make the infinite Bag distribution better than it is.

Basically your "Hold Item" section is basically the Items page, just removing a few items like "Star Peice" "Nugget" "Escape Rope", pearls and one or two more. I'd like it this way:

"Items" "Battle Items" "Medicine" "Pokeballs" "Key Items"

@ Shinx3000:

Don't forget the TM/HM section.

Maybe it would flow better if the x-stat items and the drugs like protein were put in a section called "Stat-boosting items".

So many pockets.

I have no issue with the current system. It's not like I have to rush to find what I want. Besides, I don't carry to much with me anyways. I've been known to sell even the worthless TM's like roar.

The PC system is nice, but the bottomless bag is even better, I agree with the people who said that they wanted both. Now, would the PC have the different sections like the bag?
