Seriously I don't get how after study after study proves there is no "cause" of autism, people insist on claiming something does.

Faggots. I've been drinking cows' milk for years, and it's never done me any harm. Cranial headaches gave me Aspergers, so PETA, as always, are fucking retarded.

Oh, and sure I've seen studies claiming mercury and vaccines causes autism but THIS? Please. Autism is not caused by milk, nobody knows what causes it, but there are theroies here NONE involving milk.

As a person with autism (albeit Asbergers), this makes me even more furious at PETA than before.

In exodus: all of PETA can take a long walk off a short pier.
 
wow...i think this is the only PETA ad that's actually offended me so far.

i'm not autistic myself, but i know plenty of people with asperger's and the like. and i don't know if PETA is trying to tell you drinking milk will make you smart or drinking milk will make you retarded, since autism includes both extremes (okay, it's obviously the latter they're getting at).

maybe i'm mainly offended because i'm gifted and a lot of children in that program have disorders in the autistic spectrum. we definitely aren't retarded.

...and i love my whole milk.

I agree, I think this one offends me more than the others (I actually thought the McD's one was hilarious). However, keep this in mind: PETA exploits. That is their life goal. Yes, they don't care about folks with autism -- but they didn't really care about animals either. They just slap some gruesome pictures ... of animals they apparently didn't save but had time to snap pictures ... on a bumper sticker or billboard to gross you out and gain attention for themselves.
 
Why is it wrong to be different? Sure, I don't run about galavanting in Night clubs or socialize that much, but the few people I have socialized with mean the world to me, the rest can piss off. I am on the spectrum and I'm not well, offended by it as I know it's another marketting campagin to shove anti-Beef and Anti-Autism messages down people's throats. I am imparied in several ways socially, and I wouldn't give it up for the world, even if it would mean more friends and more functionality,e ven a functioning job, 'cause I'm happy with me now, alot of peopel that I know on the spectrum are satisfied with the moment.
 
Ok, i think i know where they are getting their BS from. They are Taking the gf cf diet and making it look like "Milk Causes Autism", even though the reason it "works" is because of leaky gut, people with celiac disease have a similar problem. And even this gfcf for autism stuff isnt proven!

And if it causes autism, than what about all the other kids who drink milk? Lots of them dont have autism.

Oh, and this news was last year, but this still proves peta is dumb.
 
I'm not offended it's just a poor advertising campaign what with a lack of sufficient evidence but other than that, the poster actually looked rather good, they just need some evidence/places to go for evidence.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

This whole PETA thing is just a minor part of a humongous problem though. There's autistic people, really, really autisitc people unlike Serge and me, who can't stand up for themselves and just get taken advantage of. It goes beyond just autism though and covers the whole range of "psychiatric disorders."
