Petition for North American Release of Platinum Ranch Update

Hello everybody!

If you are like me, and you have My Pokemon Ranch and a copy of Pokemon Platinum, you are probably wondering: Why can't I connect Platinum with Ranch?

Released in Japan on November 8, 2008, just 2 months after Japan's Platinum release, My Pokemon Ranch could be updated to be compatible with Platinum Version. This added new animations, new toys, and the ability to let your some of your Pokemon change forms. Most importantly though, you can store Pokemon from Platinum.

It is now September, almost 6 months after the release of Platinum in the United States, and Nintendo of America hasn't yet announced plans to offer the update outside of Japan.

I have noticed a lot of you fans are wondering when (and even if) Nintendo of America is going to offer this update. So, I decided to come here and see how many of you would support a petition to request release of the update outside of Japan.

If you would either download My Pokemon Ranch for Platinum, or update the one you already have, please post something in support here.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE PETITION ITSELF! THIS IS SIMPLY SEEING HOW MUCH SUPPORT WE HAVE FOR THIS CAUSE.

I wonder if NoA is waiting until HG/SS's release here in NA before patching the ranch. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me though. Other dev's are usually on top of issues like this.

I'm assuming that the Platinum patch will never be released outside Japan in favor of a new HGSS patch, which would also add the missing Platinum connectivity.
 
This seems awfully like a petition to me. Testing the waters for a petition is basically asking...who would sign on?
 
You have my support, though I don't have Ranch or a Wii.
 
It'll either release shortly after HGSS releases in Japan or we'll get an HGSS update that includes Platinum connectivity.

A petition? For something regarding My Pokémon Ranch? Kidding, right?
 
The thing is, we already know it's going to happen. They'll obviously update My Pokemon Ranch when HeartGold and SoulSilver come out.

There is no need for a petition. You're just wasting your time and effort. These kind of petitions almost never work, anyways.

Yes, there is a good chance that they'll update but not 100% And if the dude/girl wants to do a freaking petition let them! Oh and key work, almost.

There is not only a good chance. There is a 99.998% chance.

A petition will make it 99.999%.
