Though I hate to admit it, most of my Roleplaying games fail. Again, though I hate to admit it, it's mainly because of me. But this new RP is one that I can't let fail on my behalf. So, due to last week's predicament of nothing to do and no internet yet access to Microsoft Word, be prepared for the thrill ride that is Phoenix Academy for Pokemon Training.

BRIEF INTRODUCTION:
Phoenix Academy for Pokemon Training. A glorious and prestigious academy, made for only the strongest pokemon wielders in the world. Created by the five original Bonders of our planet, there are powers bestowed in this academy that no one can even begin to comprehend. However, due to a recent earthquake that shook the island itself, Phoenix Academy was forced to close its doors.
Now, after three years of renovation, Phoenix Academy is searching for students and staff members to rejoin its ranks. You are one of these recruits. With your demonstration of extreme potential through your Bond, Phoenix Academy has sent a letter, requesting for you to join them.
Will you choose to further your Bonder abilities and become the best trainer you can be? If so, what will you discover about yourself while at the academy? Only you can decide your fate. One thing is certain though, Phoenix Academy will take you to heights you've never reached before.

PHYSICAL LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION:
Phoenix Academy for Pokemon Training, often shortened to simply Phoenix Academy, is located on its own island in the middle of the ocean between the Hoenn and Sinnoh landmasses. Phoenix Academy is in a valley, surrounded on all sides by very different climates. To the east of Phoenix Academy is a towering and ominous mountain made out of ice. At the base of this mountain is a cave that is filled with rare yet dangerous ice, dark, and psychic wild pokemon. To the west of the academy is another mountain, though this one is a semi-active volcano. At the top of this mountain lies a crater, filled with always churning lava. Fire, steel, fighting, and the occasional adventurous flying typed pokemon are located beside the crater. To the north is a vast jungle that can only be described as a maze. It's not so difficult for even the bravest explorers to get lost in the many twists and turns of the jungle. Grass, bug, and poison are the most common pokemon types here. Finally, a sandy beach and the chilled ocean lay to the South of the academy. Where both the docks and the observatory are located, this relaxing and peaceful beach are mainly home to water, ground, and rock pokemon, though pokemon of all types can be found here.
ACADEMY DESCRIPTION:
The academy itself is also very intricate and unique. Outside of the main building lies the main courtyard. Within the main courtyard are things such as battling fields, a large garden, and a very long stone bridge that connects to the docks. On the first floor is the grand entrance hall, the dining hall and the kitchen, and the entrance to the headmaster's office. On the second floor is the main academic hall, the classrooms, and the teacher's lounge. On the third floor lies the entrances to the dormitories, as well as a common room for all the dormitories to share. An empty, indoor gardening greenhouse is also on this floor, though it is deserted and overgrown, and has recently become a hangout place of sorts for the new students. On the fourth level are the four dormitories, one for each house. However, these dorms are separate from each other, each one being a tower on one of the four focal points of the academy. In the middle of all these towers is a large spiral stairway, which has emergency passageways between the stairs and the individual dorms. Lastly, on the fifth and final floor lies the headmasters own living quarters, as well as another stone bridge that connects to the observatory on the beach.
HOUSES:
There are a total of five houses at Phoenix Academy, each of which are representations of certain personality traits. Each house was named and created by the five founders of the academy (explained more in depth in the history section). The houses were even modelled after their respective founders, each founder matching their house's personality aspects perfectly.
The first of the houses is the Force of Lucario; shortened, simply Force. This is for the brave and for the noble. If trouble arises, these students will often charge towards the trouble with outstretched fists, rather than flee like many others. Many of the students who belong to this house end up becoming strong battlers
The next house is the Grace of Milotic; shortened, simply Grace. This is for the graceful, the kind, and the compassionate. Often praised for their gratuity, these students can become a little overconfident. These students often become entertainers and breeders.
The third house is the Zen of Metagross; shortened, simply Zen. This house usually takes in the wise and protective. The students in this house are often smart, and even a few students are modest because of this. Many students who belong to Zen become Pokemon Professors.
The fourth house is the Trickery of Zoroark; shortened, simply Trickery. This house belongs to the cunning, the ambitious, and, sometimes, the insidious. Trickery often rivals with Zen, for they are both quick-minded, though they each have different motives and agendas. Many students who belong to Trickery become very successful, though some have been rumored to become evil tyrants.
Lastly, there is the Destiny of Absol; shortened, simply Destiny. This house is for the ones with fantastic destinies, whether they be filled with joy or sorrow. This house is particularly small, and has often been singled out by the other houses throughout Phoenix Academy's history. All of Destiny's students will have a larger impact on the world than everyone else.

There is one change to the pokemon universe that I have:
If you've been following this closely, you've probably read about Bonders. In this roleplay, a pokemon and their trainer can have an unbreakable bond. Once the pokemon and their trainer have an unbreakable bond, they begin to think alike and become a fantastic pair. The pokemon wielders who have a bond with their pokemon are called Bonders. These bonds last forever and can never be replaced by another pokemon or trainer, even if the other member of the bond dies. This is not to be confused with Linking/Hybrid abilities. A trainer can only bond with one pokemon in their life, so bonding is a serious process. It happens over many years, usually occurring late in the average person's life. However, there are exceptions. Some of these trainers can become Bonders at an early age, which shows extraordinary potential in the two. You are one of these exceptions, so don't forget to give yourself a Bond with a pokemon.

HISTORY OF PHOENIX ACADEMY (This is rather long and will be explained in character regardless, so this is just for your enjoyment) :
Phoenix Academy has a rather rich history. Having been formed by the first five Bonders of the pokemon world, the academy has changed many times throughout the course of its existence.
The academy was built by the five first Bonders, as stated above. These five Bonders weren’t only fantastic trainers, but each of them created a perfect balance between each other, having an almost symbiotic relationship with each other. They were: Lorenzo Force, who was a courageous and valiant man who bonded with a Lucario; Thalia Zen, a very wise, calm, and protective woman who bonded with a Metagross; Avicia Grace, debatably the most beautiful and talented woman to ever have existed, who bonded with a Milotic; Roman Trickery, the very sinister yet cunning young man who bonded with a Zoroark; and finally, Magnum Destiny, the most mysterious yet strongest trainer to ever have existed, who bonded with an Absol.
These very different yet equally alike pokemon trainers each came together, entirely by chance, on a deserted island. Nothing was on the island at all, except for sand. So, using the enhanced power of the strongest bonds ever, the pokemon trainers began shaping the earth of the island. Carving the entire building out of marble, creating the two opposing mountains, planting and growing the vast jungle; all of this was done by the Bonders.
At first, the academy wasn’t used for teaching students. It was used more as a large battle institution, where the strongest trainers from around the world would come to. However, when many of the battlers began to disappear while at the island of Phoenix Academy, the island became abandoned.
At this time, when all of the first Bonders, except for Destiny and Grace, had died (they had married earlier, but that’s not important right now), the island was beginning to deteriorate. The ones who had created it had used the strength in their bonds with their pokemon, but, now that the pokemon and the Bonders were dying, the island couldn’t hold itself together any longer.
In a last attempt to save the island from destruction, Magnum Destiny encased the island entirely in a thick layer of ice. Not only did this prevent outside interaction with the academy, but it froze the island in time, so the island did not age. Destiny willed the ice to keep the academy frozen until there were enough, strong Bonders to maintain the island and restore the academy to its former beauty.
And there the academy sat, for many years. The once magnificent island was forgotten in history.
As the years passed and bonding became a fairly common thing, a famous explorer of the pokemon world, by the name of Reese Order, noticed a large crack in the glacier. The crack was a clean cut to the center of the island, which revealed the academy in its almost destroyed state. While exploring, Order found a parchment of paper, written to whoever found it. The paper explained what this place was, its history, and what must be done to keep it alive; many, strong Bonders must be present all the time.
The idea of making the building into an academy sprung to Reese Order’s mind almost instantly. Using his prestige in the world, the man recruited all throughout the pokemon world. Very soon afterwards, Order and his new students used the bonds between their pokemon to destroy the encompassing ice, and the academy was soon open.
For several generations afterwards, school life at the academy was normal. Very few incidents happened, and, if they did, they were very minor and would lead no one to believe that anything was happening with the school. Bonders and their pokemon maintained their status as strong Bonders, so no would have predicted what happened next.
A massive earthquake shook the island, crumbling the academy and crushing many students and staff members to death. Soon written off as a danger, the island was deserted once more. It continued to crumble, as it had right before Destiny froze the island.
After 16 full years of utter abandonment of the island, a group of surviving students, including Headmaster Gale, began restoring the academy. The following year, the academy opened up again, though much less students attended. This continued on for about 4 more years, until yet another earthquake devastated the island, killing even more students.
However, Headmaster Gale had mysterious yet extreme motivation to restore the school back to its glory yet again. So, after 3 years of avid reconstruction, the academy has been rebuilt. Now, since so few students enroll, Mr. Gale has taken to recruiting, rather than open enrollment. By recruiting only the strongest Bonders, he is almost certain that the academy will remain in its pristine condition much longer.
