Phoenix Wright 3 announced

Capcom have announced the North American release of the third Ace Attorney game.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations will be released in September. (Hopefully, that means a European release before Christmas.)

I'm looking forward to this one.

Coolios - that makes it a full trilogy. It seems, also, that they've increased the importance of the 'Ace Attorney' part of the name. The game should probably have been named as Ace Attorney: Phoenix Wright, but I guess hindsight is irrelevant.

At least it allows us the opening for Ace Attorney 4.

What's funny is that Capcom also announced that they were publishing a Harvey Birdman game for the DS.

I'm sure GS 4 could be called Phoenix Wright in the US...I mean, Zelda isn't in all the Zelda games.

It's clear that they have no plans of doing that though. I'm just wondering if they'd take that opportunity to swap the titular character's name and 'Ace Attorney' around.

It's a pity that the first real DS game in the series is also the first without Pheonix Wright starring in it, but oh well.

Now, IIRC....Gyakuten Saiban 3 was originally a GBA game that was never re-released on the DS, right? Does this mean that there's going to be a re-release of the game on DS in Japan too?

I would think so. No release date has been confirmed for Japan yet I believe.

They're probably just letting the recently released Gyakuten Saiban 4 have its moment before announcing this remake.
