Somewhere in the Viridian Forest, a mother Pikachu tended her nest. She was eager for the eggs to hatch. Her herd had left some weeks before, and would not let her rejoin untill the Pichu had hatched. Pichu, as nearly every Pikachu knew, could be a real pain in the cheek. This was why Pikachu did not allow their young to join the herd untill they evolved.
But this was not why they had left the mother. They had sensed something wrong with the eggs. Pichu eggs were supposed to hatch two weeks after laying, unless Humans got involved. It was now five weeks since the eggs were laid. Then there was the fact that one of them sparked whenever the Lightning God Who We Sing To At Night was mentioned. More disturbing still, the other egg was not laid by a Pikachu or indeed any Electric type at all.
Still, the mother watched both eggs with endless patience.

Out of the evening gloom slithered an Ekans. Normally, an Ekans did not even pray for the chance to eat a Pikachu's egg. Pikachu were too smart, too strong. And they would cooperate in ways no Pidgey or Spearow could. This time though, the Pikachu was alone, weak from hunger, and had used up all of its Electricity.

The Pikachu sensed the attack and just missed getting hit by a well aimed Bite. The Ekans paused, then used Glare. That slowed his opponent down. In fact, the Pikachu was completely Paralyzed. Now the pay off- eating the eggs. The Ekans grabbed both eggs in his mouth and prepared to leave.

Then- The Pikachu launched an all out Struggle! The Ekans fought to free himself, but the Pikachu's jaws were locked. Reflex made the Ekans drop the eggs, which rolled away from the battle. The mother Pikachu did not even notice. She was a terrible whirlwind of fury and would not stop until she fainted or her enemy did.

At dawn, the two eggs bounced down a hill towards a lake. En route, an unfortunate pair of amorous Diglett were rudely interrupted. At the lake, a Psyduck used the first Disable attack of his life - owing to the terrible collision between his head and two eggs. The attack spared a Magikarp from the thrill of a Pidgeot's nest. The Pidgeot grabbed the eggs instead. Unfortunately, a flock of Spearow were furious with the distraction from dreamland and attacked the larger Normal/Flying type. With a screech, the Pidgeot dropped the eggs- down, down through the trees. A Mankey made a grab but missed. A Lickitung caught them but soon had to let go as a terrified Butterfree brushed against it. Still the eggs dropped- Bump! (a very confused Koffing) Squish! (A Ditto) Gulp-blek! (A Victreebel) Scoosh! (A Venonat) and finally gsshh. (the grass) The eggs sat for a moment. Then glowed. When it faded, there they were. A very, very, scared Pichu - and a Meowth?

It seems like you ripped off the movie "Dinosaur" very much. That turns me off, but this could be a great story. Continue.
