This looks suspiciously like advertising.

EDIT: Decided to re-open it...still waiting for another mod's decision (sorry, I haven't done this for a while...)

All the page does is translate copied text into Pika-speak. It's not really advertising per se, but it's not that interesting, either.

Well, it does have to do with Pokemon...but then again, there's that "Pokemon in Odd Places" topic, too.

I'll move it to Outside the Box.

Sorry about having to defer to other people for my first modding action...heh.

Too bad they didn't have one for Raichu when I was writing my fan fiction.

A very odd program to say the least. Some one had way too much time on their hands.

It's not accurate. "Satoshi" brings up "pika-pika" instead of the correct "pika-pi."

It seems the translation of Pikachu is pika-pika. Odd .

And I got Togepi as chuuuu when it's pipipi.

Yeah but that's not the same. Pikachu says Pikapi when referring to Ash and Pipipi when referring to Togepi so those two prove that this thing's wrong.

It's fun, in a waste your time sort of way, to have it translate webpages like CNN and such. XD ^_^

I think I remember others:
Pika-ka-pika = Fushigidane
Pi-pikachu = Roketto-dan
Pikachu-pi = Kasumi

In the case of the first two and Pika-pi for Satoshi and Pi-pi-pi for Togepy, the (human) words correspond to syllable counts (even though technically a standalone "n" is its own syllable in Japanese, and "Togepy" has an extra "i" on the end).

 What you are saying about the translation is right. I didn't recognize (spelling?) that. The one who made the page must have done it for his (or her) own profits. He (or she) deserves nothing but a :bash: .
