Pikachu power, make up! (or, magical girls in the Pokeworld)

I've been mulling the idea of yet another attempt at a dream idea I have--a magical girl story in the Pokeworld. So if you wanted some Sailor Moon-esque magical girls (and magical boys) in the Pokeworld, what would you guys want to see in such a story if I were to go ahead with it?

Interesting characters, great plot, nothing too serious but nothing too comical either, just like Sailor Moon was. It was a show which could easily make a transition from a hilarious scene to a serious one, it was packed with everything which was what made it magical.

What was your idea?

Essentially, Ash and some of the Pokemon heroes and heroines are able to bond with Legendaries as re-incarnations of heroes that could do this in a Pokeworld long past.

That's pretty much all I know thus far

Hm, so guys would be able to transform too? Your title kinda refers only to magical girls. ^^;

While yes, the title does refer to only girls, there will be magical boys as well

So with the way you're describing it...Pokémon RéBurst but for girls? xD

Using characters with such strong personalities as anime characters might be a bit tough. Why not have a cast of original characters, so that then you won't be tied down by the characters' relationships in other media, and can even make the characters fit their Pokémon more?

That's another idea I'm thinking about (this is still in the planning stages for now)
