Why these two you ask? Even if you may think this is a random poll, many things bind these two. Pikachu as the main starter of Pokemon Yellow is the main opponent to the Eevee which gets Gary as well in Pokemon Yellow. They also both evolve via Thunderstone.

Pick your favorite!
 
Eevee, because of its many Eeveelutions.

They gave us the disadvantage in Pokémon Yellow...
 
Eevee, definitely.
It's far more useful, as it can be almost anything you need it to be.
And it's cuter too, pikachu is overrated as hell.

Eevee. It is adorable. It is awesome. And, seven evolutions, none of which suck. Pikachu ain't got nothing on that. Heck, the only reason why I wear a Pikachu hat instead of an Eevee hat is that I didn't have an Eevee plushie to decapitate. Not like I'd want to decapitate it either.
 
Pikachu, No one loves the poor thing anymore, plus she was my BFF back in Red and Firered. I still have that Raichu today.....She's a level 100 on Soulsilver.

Eevee, big time. Its evolve forms can defeat all the members of the elite 4.
 
If I had to choose based on that Pokemon with no evolution involved, I would pick Pikachu, because I think he looks more likable than Eevee. Obviously Eevee had the more useful evolutions, but at least Pikachu has Light Ball to give himself a stronger punch.
 
If I had to pick between Pikachu and Grimer, I'd pick Grimer.

If I had to choose between many pokemon, I'd pick Eevee. (Even among Flareon/Jolteon/Vaporeon, I never evolved it the first time around in Red, though I probably would've let it change into Umbreon or Espeon)
 
Pikachu. I've had bad experiences with Eevee's crap movepool whereas Pikachu learns some decent Electric attacks and evolves into Raichu. Plus, I have a shitload of Surfing Pikachus that have got me a load of brilliant pokémon over trade.
 
Hmm, Eevee and Pikachu, two of the most overrated Pokemon of all time... though Pikachu (later Raichu) was my best Pokemon in my FireRed team, I'm gonna have to go with Eevee. I'm quite fond of some of the Eeveelutions, notably Jolteon and Umbreon, and for the most part, Pikachu seriously annoys me..
