I don't care if anybody don't like it but i'm doing it anyways.This thread is about a love and hate relationship between Ash and Pokemon Hunter j. Even though they hate each other and that she did try to kill and harm him and that ash hate her so much he would ripped her but up you can tell that she and ash have something between them and that's call a love and hate relationship.

Either way, there is nothing between Ash and J that could be called love. In any form. There's more evidence for AdvanceShipping.

You would have to be blind not to see that it is something between them and i don't no were the shipping thread is.

I think that thing that's between them is what's known as a "Hate-hate" relationship. They've only interacted, what, three or four times? That's not enough time for a love-hate thing to develop between two such diametrically opposed personalities. (I mean J makes Paul look good. As in, at least he doesn't steal Pokemon and try to KILL trainers.)

Now, if they keep clashing, after (say) a dozen or so interactions they may develop a kind of mutual respect for each other's skills and/or determination, but I'd say they would STILL have a long way to go before there was any sort of attraction between them (and that's not counting the age difference).

If you wanted to put Ash and J in a realistic love-hate scenario, you'd have to handle it carefully. You'd have to show your readers first that J is capable of love...as she's been portrayed so far, she looks more like a sociopath than anything else (ditching her own men with only a "what a nuissance" at having to find other Pokemon...that's cold, man). So to counteract that impression from the series, you'd have to give her a point of vulnerability, come up with some person or pokemon that she actually has love for, and a backstory that explains just how she got so very, very ruthless in the first place.

Now, your job would be easier on Ash's side, because once he perceives something decent in a person, he can't help but try to reach it; but in this case he would have to see something major for his sympathy to engage, because her level of evil is so very extreme. Right now he has no reason to feel anything but contempt and hatred for her, and since he still shows very few signs of developing a libido, the fact that she's an attractive woman wouldn't make much of a difference one way or the other.

(Given what J's like, I don't think even Brock would touch her, not if she was giving it away free on a street corner. Conway might, but he'd no doubt feel compelled to shower a lot afterwards...)

In short, I think that you're right in that there's something more than indifference between them...but then, there was more than indifference between Winston Churchill and Heinrich Himmler, too. There's a certain quality of hatred that does NOT lend itself easily to "love-hate" variations, and when one character is clearly good and the other at the extreme end of evil, any feeling between them is not going to be adulterated by much love, or often by any at all.

How can they end up together, for first thing, J's like what 25 five or something and assuming Ash hasn't age he's still ten. Also J tried to kill him many times, that's not a normal love-hate thing that's super hate-ultra hate. Beside can J actually care for anything order than herself and her job, I mean what the hell plus Ash wouldn't even think about been close to J unless they had to, so this idea of yours is kinda stupid

Now, now, let's not go overboard. It's not a "lie," it's someone else's opinion. I'm pretty sceptical of this ship idea, too, but outrageous shipping ideas don't hurt anybody.

What I'd like to know is, why do so many people assume that "shipping" automatically equals "ending up together?" "'Ship" is short for relationship, but no one ever said it had to be a lasting relationship...or even a healthy relationship.

That said, I can't see that sort of twisted ship in the Pokemon universe...but then until DP, I'd have said I couldn't see anyone truly evil existing in the Pokemon universe...and then J popped up.
 
I like the shipping quite a bit ..but I like the weirdest variety of ships, so haha.

but i did post a Ash/Hunter J picture in the shipping thread just a bit before this thread was made, so I find it funny. xD

but it's a interesting ship. you're just not going to find many supporters because of how random and ..WTF it is. xD But sometimes that's better, because ..there's not ..obsessed/killer fans of the ship. :D

What last night episode are you talking about because i did not see it and i live in the us.Anyways i no they have hate between them but it is still something between them even if you want to admit it or not.

What? Everyone else was overreacting to him and I thought I'd take a different approach. I'm not even sure what that has to do with the thread since I'm not trying to badger the OP or anything. I already said there's something between them, I just don't see how it's love. Hate-hate relationships can be fun. It's too bad last night's episode didn't show more between them actually. It's fun watching those two really fight it out.
 
I don't no how can you say Luna Tiger that there's not a love and hate thing between Ash and Pokemon Hunter j when it is.This is a shipping thread after all and i have a right to voice my opinions just like the other members do,just like PanicAttack who think he no everything but he don't and Diamond Hero who said my idea is stupid which is being disrepectful to me the other members need to respect my opinions as well of there's because it is something between them even if some of you guys like it are not you,guys need to accept the fact that their is a love and hate relationship between Ash and Hunter j.

I agree as well. While there are some pretty strange ships out there, this one seems kinda unlikely. Like ShinyAeon said, J makes does make Paul look nice. In fact, in my opinion, J makes Paul look like the PPL from neopets. And that's alot considering they risked being eaten by a humongus snow beast and getting a concusion (I probably mispelled that) from flying petpets just to protect them.

Why don't you tell us a little more about what you see between Ash and J? What moment on the show made you sit up and go, "Ah-hah! There's shippy potential with these characters!" Or, tell us where you think things could go from here...what kind of relationship do you see developing between them?
