Just for the record, I don't support this ship. I recall at least two occasions where HunterJ intended to get Ash killed or at least badly wounded, like the time she didn't hesitate to dump part of her ship, to go splat on the ground a long way down, with her own men and Ash in the part she dropped.

But I know there are some hardcore supporters on this forum, who have lost their place to express their love for this ship when the first thread was closed, and keep on posting with enthusiasm about this ship in topics that are not in any way related to PikaTheftShipping. So I thought it would be nice to give these supporters a new home with this thread. So all PikaTheftshippers, feel free to join in!

Like in other threads, no bashing, and try to motivate your opinion. Respect a shipping, even if you don't support it. :)
 
Just to let people no when they post in this thread that this is a crack shipping,LusterPurge you have the right not to support this shipping are any others for that matter it is your opinion.
 
That is a very mature point of view, anyone is free to have his or her opinion.

And unlike some users on this forum, I won't go bashing this thread by posting here almost everyday saying I don't support and like this ship. My opinion about it was made clear enough in the opening post, I think. So I will only show up in here when there is an interesting point being discussed. Perhaps till soon here then, but maybe it will take also take a long while before you see me back here, that depends on how this topic develops and that is up to the real supporters of this ship...
 
Something about this ship just doesn't click to me(not just cuz its a girl). That's like shipping two archenemies together. How does that work out anyway? I've never seen any fanart of this one.
 
I have seen fanart in another topic, with Ash tied up and HunterJ smiling viciously. It almost gave me a nightmare... :flinch:

In my opinion this is an unlikely couple, but if you take "opposites attract" very far, this is the result I guess. :-D

Yeah, "Very" is an understatement. I mean, Palletshipping is one thing, but....wow. Reminds me of Malevolent.

That first picture is the one that scares me most as well, yes. It's the one I was referring to...
 
Well Ashfangirl, if you don't want to support this shipping that's ok there's nothing wrong with that,but there will be other's that will support this ship and some that will not support this ship which its ok,some of the fanart is a bit scary but otherwise is ok.

Were is everbody,no one have not even post in this ship yet but i will keep this shipping thread alive wether some like it are not,and some of the fans got to carry away with this whole Hunter J killing thing,when there was nothing in those episodes like that and taking the Hunter J hating damn thing way too fucking far,and making the Riolu and Hunter J episodes to be really god damn serious when they are not and it is some of the fans making some of this crap up about Hunter j being really serious when she's not,and i don't argee with LusterPurge about Ash&Hunter J being an unlikely couple because it is not true they fit each other kinda really well.
 
Perhaps they might fit each other well, who knows? I was only giving my opinion, but everyone is free to think otherwise of this ship.

But you can't deny that HunterJ tried to burn Ash with Salamence's attacks in the Riolu episodes, and Ash only barely survived because Chimchar dug a hole so Ash could escape the deadly fire.

And HunterJ did order to jettison a part of her ship at great hight, knowing Ash and some of her crew members were in it, condemning everyone inside that part of the ship to a certain death because of the impact they would make on the ground. Ash and the other crewmembers only survived because Gardevoir used Teleport just a few seconds before impact on the ground, to teleport everyone safely away from the crash.

Those things are rather strange to do to someone you care for, you have to admit. It's "slightly" different from the usual ways to show affection for someone, like going on a date, giving presents etc. Unless Ash likes near death experiences and HunterJ did those things to please him... :XD:
 
I wonder why no body post in this shipping thread yet, but i will fight to keep this shipping a live untill somebody post here.I don't argee with what Spectacular Hero said back in that old (Ash and Hunter J) thread,because he no damn well that there is something between Ash and Pokemon Hunter J and if he can not see that it is a love and hate relationship between the two of them then there is something wrong with him and he should have been banned for being disrespectful to the shipping thread and me, and Setsuna/00 Gundam should of really been banned aswell for trying to start an argument with me because i was right and he was wrong,and the crap he said was a lie that Ash stand a better chance of ending up with a girl then a Women who tried to kill him multiple which is a damn lie it didn't even happend and Ash do have a chance with a women then some dumb ass retarded girl anyday. The Jabberwock he is not right at all period, he need learn what a hint is because staring can mean love, if he can't see that it is love then he is making a lie out of his self,Snake Bandage is wrong about what he are she said because staring at each other can mean 99% of the time that it is a hint of love, if he can't see that then he need his head fix, Zephy Changes was not right about the shipping about Ash and Hunter J he was really making a lie out of his self when he said that there is nothing more for them feel anything more but hate for each other which is not fucking true,it is more of a love and hate that they have for each other then hate if he can't see that then he really need some help.
 
Now now, don't go bashing other fellow forum members just because they may happen to disagree with your point of view about pikatheftshipping. We all are entitled to our opinions, and I know that they may have said some things that were uncalled for, that doesn't give you the right to insult them. (Whoa, I sound like a mod) I honestly disagree with some of the things that you said up there, but I don't bash this shipping. All shippings have a good chance of being followed up on. Until the writers make up their minds, we have no choice but to wait and listen. As I said above, I may not support this ship, but I will NOT bash it either.

Agreed. And remember there are usually 2 reasons why people support a ship.


1) they just like it because the couple looks cute/hot/etc.

(You can help others to see this quality of the ship by posting screenshots or fanart like stories about the couple, or pictures.)


2) there are clear hints in the anime/manga or whatever the shipped characters are found in, that at least one of them may have feelings for the other.

(When it comes to hints, the amount and strength of the hints usually determines how many people start believing in a ship.)


If I read the chunk of words you tiped correctly, emmanuelburnell, the strongest hint you have mentioned is the way Hunter J. glared at Ash. Apparently to you that clearly points out they have a strong, solid love and hate relationship and anyone that doesn't see that is a big (fill in a nasty word of your choice here). Like Sierra117 said, that is actually bashing people that don't support your point of view, and I doubt it will help get more supporters for this ship. I don't question what you see in this ship, but what seems like "THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH" to some, may not at all be the same to others, please try to understand that.


So my advice would be to come up with fanart or preferably hints that are also clear to others beside yourself. For instance, try to prove why Hunter J. didn't mean to kill Ash when she ordered her henchmen to jettison a part of her ship, knowing Ash and some of her crew members where inside, making them drop down so far they would get at least badly hurt and even probably killed upon impact. In a court of law that would simply be attempted murder, even if the person you tried to kill survived, like Ash did miraculously with the help of Gardevoir. so it's your job as the "laywer" defending this ship, to make it believable that was in fact an act of love. Succeed in that, and I am certain this topic will get more supporters soon.


And one last advice, please try to seperate what you type in smaller chunks of text, each covering a subject, like I did in this posting. It makes it much easier to read, and this may also help in getting more supporters. Now a casual reader may lose track of what you are trying to say, after reading just a few lines, and think "why should I bother reading the rest?" and that is not what you want, right?
 
I don't ship it, but I can see where people would like it, from a "dangerous sexy" sort of angle. What I picture would be more accurately called Belttheftshipping. haha
 
I really did not mean to bash the other members on this shipping foums but they have to learn to give me and the shipping threads respect, there was no reason for them to disrespect this shipping, because when you disrespect one shipping you are disrepecting all the other's aswell and that's not acceptable. I don't argee with what Luna Tigre said to me about i'm slandering people which i'm am not,and i don't have to go anywere else i have a right to be on this side of the ship if i want to, the other members have to accept this as it is a shipping like all the other and if they can't be nice themselves then they should not even be on this side themselves.I also notice that Luna Tigre did not send an infraction to the other members when they were being disrespectful to me and the shipping thread,what he is doing is treating me indifferent from all the other memebers and there is no reason for it. Luna Tigre have to treat me fair like all the other members aswell and learn that the canon relationship between Ash and J is a love and hate one i'm not going to change it and i never got on their nerves they got on my nerves, but i'm done for now.

Hey, man, don't gripe. You've got a thread to discuss your Ship, so use it to discuss your Ship. You're entitled to your opinions, I'm entitled to mine. I don't support this Ship, and I consider it crack, but hey, to each his own right? You're free to support it, I certainly can't stop you!
 
Right! Bring on the fanart, hints, topics to discuss about, and let what happened in the past be in the past! That's the only way this thread can survive.
 
I do argee that people are entitled to their own opinions,i say what is in the past can stay in the past, so we can get on with this shipping and the court of law about attempted murder should not be use in this shipping thread at all period,and this is not what the shipping is supposed to be about,it should only be about shipping matters only and i don't argee that people support a ship because of a couple looks cute maybe hot but that's about,and the anime/manga don't normally give a lot of hints about the characters feelings for each other,however i do understand that people have the right to support a shipping are not and they can be entitled to their own opinions when ever they want to.

First, I think what happened between Ash and Hunter J. in the anime, like the numerous moments J. tried to harm Ash, has everything to do with this ship, and really belongs in this thread. Any hints for this ship, if there are any, are to be found there, right? I agree that most hints for other ships are not very clear, but the writers do include them once in a while, so maybe there are hints for this ship to be seen on screen as well.

Ofcourse a ship doesn't need hints to get supported at all, but as a rule ships that have no or very few hints, usually have fewer supporters. So please consider this when you wonder why hardly anyone comes here.

If I consider this ship, I think most will only support it because they like the idea of an evil, older character paired with an innocent and younger one like Ash. I personally like ships with more hints, but I can understand that this ship has some appeal, and therefor deserves it's own place, which is in this thread.
