You know, I'm surprised no one made this yet.
Anyhow, this is last year's Pikachu special, which could be seen exclusivly on ANA flights for a year, until it got a DVD release in mid-June. A sixth special will take it's place on the flights beginning next month.

In this episode, Pikachu, Nyarth and their respective friends have, through a series of accidents, ended up in a frozen wasteland, and attempt to locate the royal leader of the mountain in hope of getting back home.

As with last year's special, it's mostly a long series of amusing events, but the attempts at a more involving plot kind of drags it down, and the end result is not as good as the previous one.
Still, it's an amusing special well worth the money.

I'd love to see it, especially since Ambipom is there... even if it doesn't do much - it'd be good to see something new with it
 
Piplup, no-one has this short. I've tried to find it, but it probably doesn't exist on the internet :/
 
That's not worth it, I'm fine with the shots on Serebii I still havn't seen the ones with the seventh, eighth, and tenth film.
 
There WERE none for the seventh eighth and tenth films. At least not in america...
 
All the movies from 7 and up had an ANA special released at the same time as the movie's premiere. While they weren't directly related to the movies, they essentially replaced the Pikachu shorts the 6 first movies came bundled with. This one here is the one that premiered at the same time as the Shaymin movie.

So yeah, they definitely existed, the dubbers just ignored most of them for some reason.

I guess I should bump this instead of making a new thread, I hope that's right...
So I finally watched this and it was so good! funny and crazy, like Pokémon should always be XD
It was nice to see Ambi again and Gliscor (even if Gliscor didn't appear a lot, it was funny in the scenes it had) and it's always good to see more of Swinub before it evolved
I got to the conclusion that the bunny is evil - it told poor Pip that it'd be better if it ended up in Pika's group and not with Pip and later when they find Pika, the crazy bunny runs to its loved mouse but finds it needed to randomly push the poor penguin away so hard that it get hit by the ice wall!
Poor penguin, but seeing Pip's bad luck and its reactions to all of these things is exactly what makes me love it so much!
And it's funny when Meowth order Jessie and James' Poké to use attacks as if it's their trainer
While it was long ago when I watched the previous ANA short movies, I seem to remember they were pretty boring while this one was just amazing - so I recommand to watch this!

Rewatch the fourth one. It was absolutely brilliant, the best Pikachu short yet.

I'd say probably not so hot. These haven't been released outside Japan in the past few years, so it's likely this one won't be any different.
