Hi, i recently started playing Platinum and i've just reached that flowery town, i don't remember whats it's called. but anyways, my question is should i catch one of them grey bird Pokemons(starly or something like that) that keep appearing and train it, for when i get FLY HM, or do i wait for any better bird Pokemons that may appear later in the game? something a little cooler?

You're in Floaroma Town. The Pokemon you're referring to is Starly. You can get it pretty early in the game.

Catch Starly. It helps. Staraptor, its final form, can learn Close Combat, a feature that lets it stand out from other Normal/Flying types.
