There's one thing I was wondering about recently...
Remember when English version of D/P was out. Zhen Lin, Arty2, Filb, Pipian and others made awesome D/P English Script Rip. It was really cool, as it wasn't merely listing dialogues, it also had many (if not all) name lists stored in the game data!
I wonder, will it be the same in Platinum? I'm really hoping to see such rip for Platinum. I hope that the game-hacking masters (hello Kyoufu Kawa and Peter O.) cooperate again and make such awesome project for Platinum.
I know that it's not nice to talk others to do something that I can't do myself (I wish I could help... but I don't know how. I'm not a hacker.) but such rip is what fandom needs, the raw info from the game data, without any fanintepretation. I, as a Pokemon game analyzer, really miss them (as there is a notable LACK of such materials in the Pokemon fandom. Pokefor is dead, Tohjo Falls and UPC haven't been updated in awhile).
There are countless pros for such projects. And only one con - EFFORT. And I'm very afraid that this one con seems to outshine all pros...
Who's with me?
