This is the first Trope Playground in Bulbagarden Forums. Ever.
Rules:
  1. All of Bulbagarden Forums main rules are applied.
  2. This game is not to offense anyone. All examples are fictional and should not taken too seriously.
  3. To see what Playing with a Trope is, click on the link below. Main/Playing with a Trope - Television Tropes & Idioms
  4. Any medias are allowed, but you don't need to make examples from real franchises for twists (you can still use them).

How to play:


  • A) I will give an existing trope and a style to play with a trope. Example: Dark is Not Evil, Enforced
  • B) The next poster will give an example. Don't post 'til you done the step C! Example: Game Freak felt satanist for overusing Dark-Type Pokémon as antagonist so they tend to use a different one that is not evil at all or atleast immature yet heroic.
  • C) That poster then, below the example he/she made, another Trope (it must be different from above) and a style of Trope Playing (doesn't need to be different).
  • D) The next poster do the Step B and C.

Jerkass, Exaggerated
 
A jerk goes wild and acts like a jerkass, then boasts about it, invoking No Indoor Voice, and ticks everyone off.

Evil Twin, played for drama
 
Berrenta finds that her evil twin, Atnerreb, has been ruining her reputation everywhere, so she's kicked out of her house, and must live on the streets, with everyone despising her. She gets better through some twist of fate, though, and Atnerreb ends up having a life sentence.

Main/Brick Joke - Television Tropes & Idioms, Implied.
 
Akromatic mentions that his Bulbagarden title is "Our gods are different." Later on, he meets a god whom he assumes to be similar to every other god he's studied throughout mythology, but such is not the case. When this is pointed out, the god simply says, "I'm different."

Dracoman and Charizard were both very excited when Charizard gained two Mega Evolutions. Their close "friend" Blaziken was burning with envy so he plotted his revenge for months. It was 12am one night when Dracoman was in the bathroom that Blaziken stealthily sneaked in. He went to Charizard, raised his knife and cut the neck!
of a balloon. The noise awoke Charizard who trembled in fear. Dracoman came in and pulled the trigger of his water gun, causing Blaziken to flee.

In order to join Boss Evulz gang, FairyGaga proves his ruthlessness by shooting Officer Akromatic. However, the gun was actually a paintball gun disguised as the real thing; now FairyGaga can get to work as Akromatic's mole.

Just one thing, you don't need to include the user from above post unless you runs out of ideas.

Xerneas is fed up by evil crimes by Yvetal, but the latter one said that she forced him to do it since she symbolise goodness.

She is actually both joking and deceived Yvetal, as she lied on darkness, causing him to slap her because of this. She understands that she is just as foolish as Yvetal is. But Yvetal kept going since he becomes evil after all. Terrakion, who felt in love of Xerneas, chase him out. But Xerneas told him to leave, as she got slapped badly.

Zima (while holding an Idiot Ball) asked Charles Dunois who lit the house on fire while he's lighting her favourite sofa and and was shouting "I WILL BURN EVERYTHING" a few moments before. His response? "Enzap did it." Enzap was "send to a farm in the countryside" after an accident in Puerto Rico 5 years ago.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles go to a strange land, break a local law by brushing up against a sacred tree, and are force-fed pizza as punishment. Of course, they like pizza.

A war between United States and Canada (TF2 Soldier provoked that!) is passed underwater, full of submarines that shoot torpedoes without each other having to resurface on the sea. Some submarines are even equiped with sharp, thick fins for close combat.

Soldier: What the Hades is this? Are they got "washed" out of land and arial vehicles?

One specefic enemy called Crippler uses two ray guns, one each replacing his hands, in order to attack Rayman. It's turns out that Crippler's hands aren't fully replaced and can be seen once being hit with a Land Pound.

Our Dragons are Different, Zig Zagged (Challenging!)
 
SO, there's a thing that's said to be a dragon but looks different than a normal one. Then, it turns out that it's actually not a dragon, but a new species of panda called the Rariocaraliapo Panda. Afterawards, pandas are revealed to be a type of dragon. Then the Rariocaraliapo Panda is revealed to not actually be a panda, but a species of fox. Then, it grows wings, says "HAHA IM ACTULY A DRAGON NOOBZ", and flies away.
That was actually pretty easy.

After a dangerous, final battle between Pikachu, Froakie, Chespin, Fennekin versus Mega Mewtwo Y, it turns out that Mega Mewtwo Y is unleahing an apocalyptical attack, the floating, giant stone where they fought is destroyed, leaving a powerful flash. When the flash wears off, a plain full of flowers where the heroes are alright.
They thought that they are dreaming, but when they woke up, it is the same scenery, this time with the leftovers of the stone and the defeated Mewtwo. He tells them that his energy is badly weakened from the battle, promises to stop, and leave them in peace.
The heroes are still confused how comes they survived.

Remembering how Ganon was easily distracted by the allure of the fishing rod, Link (Wind Waker incarnation) waves the fishing rod in front of Ganon's face, then tosses it. He watches as Ganon suicides as he tries to chase after the fishing rod, only to fall out of his fortress into the sea below...

In order to make Bowser go crazy, Fawful had made a copying clone of the King of Koopa Troop and when they met, the two Bowsers are alway using the same attack and movements. It turned out that both get defeated when they both perform the Ground Pound on a fragile floor, causing both Bowsers to fall down, and the clone one is destroyed. The real one started to hit the wall with his head as he delivered so many insults to the clone and vice versa, while Fawful understands how much one Bowser is enough, and shows a traumatized face...

Before Elec Man is going twisted and claims that humans are weak, everyone is shocked. But when Dr.Wily said "Said something about what humanity have that the robot don't have which is persistance and bravery". Dr.Light said this and successfully made Elec Man to admitted it, but the electronical Robot Master is actually thinking on only to harm the doctors and Mega Man.
