Please help me find this anime!

Ok, so I had this song stuck in my head a few days ago from this really old anime that I cant remember, since I only saw a preview when I was little, and thats what the song was playing on.

I remember watching an old tape of Pokemon from the library and at the end, it showed a few commercials.

One was for the Pokemon gameboy games (with a bunch of Pokemon getting on a bus)
Another was for the New Adventures of Kimba the White Lion
One for "The Dog of Flanders" (anime version)
but I dont recall the last one. Heres all I know:

-It started out with a girl in some sort of temple. She was standing on an elephant trunk. "It was a typical day in the neighborhood... until I got kidnaped"
-She was kidnaped by someone who wanted to marry her or something. "Oh ___ wont you come and rescue me before Im married to Kiran!"
-Her friends had to come rescue her on a boat.

thats it. I think it was distributed by Pioneer

Yeah, I remember that ad. Was that on one of the early Kanto episode tapes, or was that on one of the movies... my old vcr's kinda acting weird (it gets stuck when it gets hot) but once it cools down I'm going to check one of my old Kanto tapes and see if it's on there.

I'm wondering if it was one of the Ranma 1/2 movies, I think one of those was advertised on the end of the poketapes.
