Please help me with my Deoxys

I'm currently playing Pokemon Fire Red and got all 8 Badges and completed all optional missions(Ruby & Sapphire parts), my Deoxys only level 80 but it doesn't obey any of my commands...
Please tell me how to fix this problem?
 
In main series games, no pokemon should not obey you, never had that happen with me
 
Just because it never happened to you, Shinx, doesn't mean it doesn't happen. There's a reason some badges come with "pokémon up to lv X0 will obey you" under their descriptions. It relates to traded pokémon, not pokémon you caught yourself.
 
well, if he has all eight badges it shouldn't be a prob. unless of course they changed the number of badges to 10 in FireRed and not LeafGreen

That's what I was thinking, but when has a hack ever not obeyed anyone? Though I've never heard of a hacked Mew not obeying. Every generation Mew, or just first gen?
 
I think starting in FRLG, Deoxys and Mew have to have a 'fateful encounter' flag (or as another way to put it, something in the data that tells the game that it's from an event)...

Or maybe that started in Emerald and I'm just crazy.
 
yeah, maybe something to that extent, becuase i heard from someone (can't remember who!) that if your Regigigas doesn't have like a line saying "Had a fateful encounter" it won't trigger the events in Platinum
 
There's an obedience flag in FRLGE. Hacks don't obey if they're of certain species.

Yeah, you need the 'fateful encounter' on Shaymin and Regigigas to unlock the gracidea flower and the Regis.

We got an article on that, or a footnote somewhere? That seems like something everyone should know.
 
To summarize what everyone else just said, hacked Deoxys and Mew in FR/LG will never obey, regardless of badges. Either you hacked the Deoxys, or got it from a friend who hacked it.
 
So if I got the teleport to Birth Island and catch the Deoxys there, will it obey me?
