This is a roleplay that I started on another forum. I hope people will like to play it with me.


This takes place in Yra, or Aira, where in the west and south much forest grow and in the east there is a vast wasteland. In the north and also south there is a lot of mountains. In the northeast and northwest there is ocean. There are five great cities: Amepolis, Midori City, Advancity, Emeraldi and Metrotoshi. Some smaller towns are Mori Town, Riverstream, Sakura Town,
Mysti, Oak Village, Village Bloom, Kinoko Village, Pokéheim, Tsol and Birchby. Other villages exist but are too small to be marked upon the map.

Yama: A great mountain surrounded by smaller mountains. The big one is called Yama and the smaller ones are used to be called the Yama Mountains. There is either mist in these mountains, or strong winds. There are caves where Pokémon are hiding.
Usual Pokémon Types in this area are: Rock, Dragon and Flying

Mysti: Mysti lies upon one of the smaller mountains of the Yama Mountains. There is often thick mist there, so you do not always see the town. You do not hear much of its people when you're soemwhere else in Yra. There grows some woods further down from the town and there you may find

Riverstream: There runs a river down from the mountains. If you follow it you will reach the town of Riverstream. It is a beautiful town with nice people. You usually see fishermen by the river. The houses are somewhat scattered so it is not unusual that a little, wild Pokémon passes through town. The town lies on a field where trees grow. There are willow trees by the river. You can see Yama from here.

Advancity: Southwest of Yama. A great, high technology city where you can find most things. The houses have many storeys and there are roads build in the air. People travel by cars and such upon those roads, which sometimes goes through a sky scraper so that you can park inside. There is always a taxi to get if you want to go somewhere in the city. There are of course game corners in Advancity and most people there are the ones who should be at school or work.

Emeraldi: Emeraldi is one of the great cities and also the most beautiful. The houses are very tall and between them people fly with their flying Pokémon. The buildings are shining with a green light when the sun shines. In the city there is a trading card game leauge where you may play the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Those who have no Pokémon can have one for free in Emeraldi and many people come here to have their frist Pocket Monsters. Emeraldi lies by the coast where you usually see

flying around.

Pokéheim: South of Advancity. The buildings are so tall in Advancity that you can see them from Pokéheim. The people in Pokéheim love Pokémon. The best Pokémon hospital lies here and the people knows much about medicine and healing in general. They use to look for wild Pokémon that is hurt, to help them and then set them free again. Those who have not yet obtained a Pokémon may be a friend to one of the monster that was taken care of. Many come here to adopt Pocket Monsters.
There is a little lake close to Pokéheim and many Pokémon gather there to drink.

Birchby: In Birchby there lives an old professor, who tries to learn more about Pokémon. He may let you have a Pokémon Zukan for free instead of you must buy one in one of the great cities. He will be happy if you return to him and show him alla the Pokémon you've seen.
Birchby lies by a forest that is full of Pokémon like: bird-type creatures and Grass-Pokémon.

Mori: A forest where most Pokémon likes to be. When you walk through the forest you always see some kind of Pokémon, even if some tries to hide. Because of this, aslo many Trainers likes to be there, since they can capture a lot of Pocket Monsters.
Usual Pokémon: Most that prefer to live in the forest.
Oak Village: The people of Oak Village are friends with the forest's wild Pokémon. They seldom capture any, since they are already frriends with them, but sometimes there is someone who wants to be a Pokémon Trainer. The inhabitants of Oak Village usually stays away from adventures, but sometimes there is one who is very adventurous.
Some houses are build in the great trees of the Mori wood. Bird and bug-Pokémon lives among the branches.

Amepolis: A great, beautiful city south of Oak Village. The houses have tall towers in different colours. It often rains in this big city. It is not usually wild Pokémon comes into a city with this many people, but sometimes you may see an

that glides upon the fallen rain water. The city lies near Mori and there are some ponds about where you can find

Saukra Town: The most beautiful of the smaller towns in Yra. They got a a lot of cherry trees in Sakura Town. Forest Mori reach all the way down here around the town. People seldom leave their home since they like it here very much. Many othersd that come here have it hard to leave, because they come to like Sakura. You can see high mountains from this town and the ground slopes down from these mountains. If you travel here you will reach Midori City. There is much vegetaion there and some lakes, which makes Pokémon like to be there.
Midori City: The great city is almost hidden behind all the plants around. It is hard to find Midori, but there are a lot of Pokémon Trainers travelling from there. Ther are many Pokémon professors in Midori. The city have very old buildings and maybe this is the most ancient city in Yra. They have very good education in Midori City and you may come here to learn things. The greatest library lies here.
You can see a mountain chain that reach from the west to the south. What kind of Pokémon living there is almost unknown, but there are lot of Rock and Ground-Types. No one had ever travelled over the high mountains to see the other side.

Village Bloome: A little village that also lies in the vegetation area. The village is very small. They have good contact with Sakura Town and sometimes with Midori.

Wood Foreste: A mysterious forest where not all Pokémon are known. It is hard to fins them, when they can easily hide in the Foreste woods. Strange, big mushrooms grows in the forest and they glow slightly during the night. The trees are high and their branches grow far up on the trunk. There are a lot of strong Pok´moen in the forest, so people seldom travel alone here.
Pokémon that're ususal: Mixed. Many strong ones.

Mount. Birg: Birg lies in the forest. The mountain is a part of a mountain chain that reach from the west to the south behind Foreste. No one of those who have got to the other side of these mountains have ever gotten back. There are many strong Pokémon here and even such that cannot be found anywhere else. There are no villages or towns among these mountains and you seldom see any people.

Kinoko Village: Kinoko lies in Foreste. A ussual village that reminds of Oak Village, but they do not have that good contact with wild Pokémon here. The people are instead a little shy of the wild creatures.

Mori Town: A town in Foreste where they are very fascinated of Pokémon, especially uncommon kinds. The Trainers use to go crazy when they spot a Pokémon they've never spotted before. Beginners soemtimes try to challenge and capture too strong Pokémon.

Wasteland Wayst: A vast, stony wasteland with bad vegetaion. The waste is flat, but some small mountains are seen sometimes. There are not many Pokémon here, but they are yet no harder to catch here, since you can find them much easier. There are few bushes to hide in. The wasteland is very hot during the day and very cold during the night. It may blow strong winds in Wayst and small stones may blow into a traveller's face.
Common Pokémon-Types: Ground, some flying since they can travel quickly through the wasteland.

Tsol: A big city, but far from as big as the five great cities. Here you can find one of the greatest Pokémon arenas, Pokémon Colloseum. A lot of people come here to watch or parttake in the battles.
The people of this city avoid contact with other citis, except when its about trade. They have an own language so that strangers do not understand them. It is hard for outsiders that visit the city. Tsol's inhabitants are very willing to battle, so if they want to talk to you it's often to challenge you for a fight. They are skilled in Pokémon battles.
Metrotoshi: The greatest and the most high technological city in Yra. It is much like Advancity, with roads build above the ground and the tall buildings, but it is much bigger. There are almost an endless amount of game corners in the city, there are as much people outside during the night as during the day, and there are unumberous shining signs and flashing lights. It is hard to travel through Metrotoshi because of the population, but the best is to travel by train. The railroads are build like bridges through the air, as many other roads here, but if you got a flying Pokémon that is an even better way to travel through the metropolis. The greatest Pokémon Center lies in Metrotoshi and there is a big Pokémon arena, Pokémon Stadium. After they had build the even bigger Pokémon Stadium 2 in Advancity, they built Pokémon Stadium 3 in Metrotoshi, so there are now two arenas there. In the middle of the enormous city lies the Pokémon League, the greatest building of the city, and there is another arena, there is a Pokémon Trading Card Game and a lot of game corners. You may challenge the Trainers of the League, but they are very hard to beat. If you defeat them all you will become the Champion of the year. you may only be a Champion two years in a row, even if you would win all the time.
There is almost everything you can get in the city, but it costs a lot of money, Pokéyen.

Story: People of Yra lives like any other people; they work, eat and play video games. But they also got Pocket Monsters. As long as any one can remember humans have lived together with these creatures and been helped by them. Without Pocket Monsters, Pokémon as they're also called, no one could have build the great cities and had such high technology. Humans are depended upon Pokémon.
Once there was a gang of gangsters that ravaged in Advancity. Rumours say that the gang, Rocket, still exist somewhere, but no one knows where they are hiding. peopl edo not worry much since Rocket is believed to be weaker now and to be unable of doing anything. Rocket has tried to take control of all Pokémon and have them on their side. Pokémon is power, they think. Without Pokémon people will have it hard to live, and that Rocket sees as an advantage. If they gain control of Pokémon they can conquer the world.
This roleplay is about the time when some begin to worry about what Rocket is capable of. It is not known where this criminal gang have their headquarters. Maybe in Advancity, or in Metrotoshi but that city seems very safe. People look for Rocket now to stop their evil plans before it is too late, but there are many that thinks there is nothing to worry about and that the Rocket got no chance, and therefore these people do nothing to help. Others can feel something weigh heavy upon them, that something bad is about to happen.
In the rp you will try to find Rocket and destroy them, but it is not just to run there at once if you find them quickly. You must have many and well trained Pokémon to meet Rocket's army. You do not need to fight against Rocket if you do not want to, but you may vbattle in the pokémon arenas or just rty to capture as many Pokémon as possible, but if no one stops Rocket soon . . .
