All of these cards are original i would like to know what new cards would be good to add such as i have been considering changing it to a steel fighting deck that consists of no rhyhorns or rhydons and instead adding 3 onixs and a steelix

I took 12th with this deck in the regionals btw in the masters

ENERGY
24 fight energy
1 full heal energy
POKEMON
1 porygon
2 hitmonlee
2 hitmonchan
2 rhyhorn
2 rhydon
3 machop
2 machoke
2 machamps (should i swap these for machamp ex's instead, i looked at them and they have good advantages)
1 cubone
1 marowak
TRAINER CARDS(if supporter cards would be better to switch which ones should i replace?)

3 pokedex
1 pokeball
2 switch
2 energy search
2 bill
2 energy retrievals
1 Pokemon Breeder Fields (i hope to get another one of these)
****i am open to any suggestions whatsoever, the main base of it is hitmonchans and hitmonlees****

THANKS FOR ANY HELP WHATSOEVER I APPRECIATE ANYTHING ANYONE CONTRIBUTES TO MY DECK

***i have tested it out with several different decks belonging to friends and small leagues and it hasn't been beaten yet, i have played a deck of every type except dark or psychic*** :spin:

If you don't mind having too many supporter cards, you might want to replace Pokedex with Cynthia's Guidance (Allow you to choose 1 card from 7top card) or Underground Expedition (Choose 2cards from 4bottom cards)..

You might also need some search card like Bebe's Search to increase your chance evolving Machop line..

You don't need Energy Search since you are making One-type deck.. Unless one of your pokemon can search for trainer card someway..

thanks, do you think having the porygon would be smart because of its conversion abilities and the switches i have included in my deck

Hmm.. Not sure.. I assume your Porygon is from Team Rocket series.. The point is, last time it might be good.. But right now, 40HP is REALLY low.. Your opponent might even take it out within a turn or two.. Unless you are going to Porygon line.. I don't really see the purpose of it.. With 0 Retreat Cost, there isn't any need for Switch, but yea.. You can use it for the others..

And if I am not mistaken, most of your pokemons are weak to Psychic.. You might need Stadium card like Ancient Tomb.. You might also want to include good Normal type pokemon especially the SP one..

okay thx i am getting the new heartgold and soulsilver tin for meganium prime today actually and i might need to use some of the cards from that to rethink my strategy

Alright, dude... sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your deck isn't tournament legal.

Right now, the format is DP-on. That is to say, only cards from the Diamond & Pearl set onward can be used in competitive play. :/ Again, sorry.

yeah my friends told me that too, so i am making a new deck but when the new pokemon primes are released i have a good strategy.

i am going to get the meganium tin, it includes a blissey prime according to my friend, and its ability is that it removes all damage counter from your pokemon when it comes into play but you have to remove all energies from the pokemon that had damage counters on them but you then use meganium's pokepower/pokebody(i forget which it is) and move all of your energies to one of your benched pokemon that has no damage on it, then next turn move the energies back and boom, everyones full healed, and has their energies back thanks to meganiums ability.

That's not really a bad strategy, but you will not necessarily get a Blissey Prime in a Meganium tin. Chances are that you will not. You will receive a Meganium Prime for sure, since that is the tin promo, but the odds are against you that you will receive a Blissey Prime.

fighting pokemon with the new cards have too many weaknesses so its hard to make a good deck out of them so i plan to start with a handful of booster packs and the meganium tin

btw do you know when the tins are released in stores because i went to target and toys r us and couldn't find anything on them or at pokemon.com
info would be great, i am in the United States btw

The tins have already been released... you should be able to find them at those stores pretty easily. If not, try your local gaming store.

thanks, i think that they should be in stores by tomorrow so i'll go then, but thanks for the help!!
