This happened to me too. I got a spam PM from "zackpdog" but couldn't actually access it here

Hmmm...we'll have to find a way to delete all those PM's sent by banned members, so people don't get those notifications.

The PM's are deleted, they just haven't de-notified for some reason.

I got one from cooper, so I permabanned him. But I can't remember his history, only that he had about 57 posts an an icon of the poster from Vertigo, so I'm doubting that he was a bot.

Now I'm glad I don't visit every day. Or because no one wants to talk to me. No PM spam here to report.

Okay, to remove the notification for the phantom removed from database porn spam PM's, simply click the box at the top right of your list of PM's in your inbox, and scroll down to the drop menu at the bottom of the page, selecting "mark all as read". It'll wipe that notification.
