hi , i'm tony !! i'm an autistic artist , writer , musician and twitch streamer !!

like others here (most likely) , i've been a pokemon fan for pretty much my whole life . it's an incredibly important series to me in ways that i don't think i could ever properly put into words . my first pokemon game was soulsilver , though i had gotten into it even before then . it wasn't just the games that were important to me - in fact , a lot of my childhood was also looking at a lot of pokemon fan content and the culture surrounding it , even though i couldn't actively participate until later in life .

even though i love the main series (or at least most of it) , much of my pokemon gameplay today is PMD and other side games (or ROM hacks !! i love fangames so much) , but Primarily PMD . you may have seen me active in the r/MD discord or the PMD speedrunning server (i am adventure squad's strongest warrior:slowpoke:) as i'm relatively active in those . i love the gameplay of PMD and love taking it to new levels (although i'm also insane about the games' stories dw LOL)

otherwise , i also spend a lot of time studying glitchology and unused/beta content for pokemon . GSC is my favorite gen to glitch in because of how accessible it is , but you can never go wrong with RBY ! gen 3 glitching is a little bit out of my league rn (i should change that . Everyone make me change that)

my favorite mainline game is HGSS !! which was probably a bit predictable . but the credits still make me cry . my favorite PMD game is EOS for gameplay and GTI for story .

my favorite pokemon are quilava , absol , umbreon , shaymin-sky , altaria and mew in that order !!

i primarily joined bc i knew some friends who are really active on here , and probably also to hopefully ramble about PMD/similar side game challenges . aside from pokemon , i also love when they cry , electronic music (if you like lauren bousfield/nero's day at disneyland then you are automatically my friend) , creepypastas (and general horror , mostly on the surreal/psychological side) , earthbound/mother , and other miscellaneous video games !! ^w^

YEA i kept forgetting LOL today reminded me that i wanted to join . maaaybe i'll hang around the writing section . probably the PMD section as well lol

i probably should've specified that my electronic music interest is more on the experimental side (noise , breakcore , IDM , deconstructed club , etc.) but i belieeeeve i've heard of frost children !! i dont know if i've heard a song from them though .

recently tho i've been listening to . Actually i went to check what i've been listening to lately and it's kinda been the same as my usual HKSJDFGKJSD (lauren bousfield , venetian snares , scattered vocaloid and hardcore songs , with some merzbow sprinkled in)

I . Funny story . i played EOD as a kid but i think it had a BW effect where i didn't really know what was going on/the game was too long for me so i played rescue team instead . it was really only until 2019 where i actually played explorers of sky (on an emulator) and could Understand It for the first time . then in early 2024 my friend had an extra copy of EOS that they gave to me for FREE (WHICH . EOS IS SO EXPENSIVE !!! THEY WERE SO SWAG AND AWESOME TO JUST GIVE IT TO ME !!) and then my PMD Insanity:tm: started . liek i love the story dont get me wrong but i could probably play EOS for hours upon hours , even if it's just me grinding destiny tower . i could probably do it . i Have done it actually there were full days where it was Just hard runs liek DT or southeastern islands nogrind (essentially my strategy for getting legendary (or probably any mon but it works best with legends) items that trades length of time spent in dungeons for consistency and difficulty . It was very hard LOL but i did it because i didnt like running zero isle for 5 hours and ending up with like 17 dupes of the same thing) .

in fact i might make some sort of a post about the insane stuff i have and eventually will do in PMD . literally the only things i haven't done in EOS are a living dex and fully filling out the adventure log . I've been burnt out on recruitment for a while + playing other games so .

Yeah my EDM taste is very poppy for sure. Not to say that I don't enjoy the harder stuff, I just haven't really known where to started, so I'll take your usuals as recommendations lol!
