Plot:

Guild teams are going missing everywhere, leaving behind a unfinished plea of help from the team leader and signs of a stuggle. Along with the disappearances is the growing concern with the underworld Pokemon ring gaining more and more power, titling themselves " the Umbra Syndicate" due to the growing eclipse of the various Guild's strength, while they grow in strength.

Outside teams not loyal to a guild for various reasons, teams forged from friendship, similar ideals and the like are called in from all across the Continent and sent to find the missing Guild teams alive or dead and bring them back to their home-guilds. And if possible, take down the Umbra Syndicate as well.

Rules:
Character death is allowed.

Keep the flirting to Pokemon within your Egg Groups.

You can create mis. characters/teams for the sake of the plot or keeping the thread afloat, but describe them, please.

No godmodding.

Normal PMD rules applies (as of PMD: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky).

Please don't put in explicit romance scenes in your posts.

Don't overdo the cussing.

Have fun and go nuts!

My sign-up:

Name: Osiris

Gender: Male

Species: Lucario

Sexuality: Straight

Appearence oddities: Shiny; wide jagged scar above right eye

Personality: Cool and composed like his species tends to be, Osiris is the leader of his ragtag group. Despite this, he can be a bit emotional yet unflappable, not knowing the meaning of the word "fear". He can be a bit of a peacemaker, usually trying to stop unnecessary fights that only wastes energy and time. He is also justice driven, his dream where no crime exist, even if it is temporarily.

Position in team: Leader

Moves: Aura Sphere, Force Palm, Double Team, Close Combat, Bone Rush, ExtremeSpeed

Name: Moko

Gender: female

Species: Flaafy

Sexuality: unsure

Appearence oddities: none

Personality: Timid, but very intelligent. Moko doesn't like conflict, but if it's someone she knows well, she's not afraid to put them in their place every once and awhile. However, despite her intelligence, she can be kind of a ditz at times. This was shown when she was about to evolve into an Ampharos -- unbeknownst to her, there was an Everstone caught in her wool. When she discovered it, she laughed, then decided to keep it there and not evolve until she was ready. She has a habit of laughing nervously whenever she's uncomfortable.

Position in team: Researcher

Moves: Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Signal Beam, Power Gem, Reflect, Hidden Power (Grass)

Name: Hermes

Gender: Male

Species: Swellow

Sexuality: Straight

Appearance oddities: slightly bigger than your average Swellow, silver feathers replace the blue on a normal Swellow.

Personality: Hermes is sly and cunning, always using his head before rushing into battle. He is very analytical and is willing to use any advantage to better his own position, even if it is somewhat underhanded. He is also a master manipulator and is skilled at disgusing his true thoughts and motives. He is also charming and intelligent.

Position in team: Item Specialist

Moves: Return, Fly, Aerial Ace, U-Turn, Brave Bird, Steel Wing

Alright, lady and gentleman! Come back in the morning when X Resistance is awake and online.

Name: Sal

Gender: Male

Species: Charmeleon

Sexuality: Straight.

Personality: Sal tends to be reckless when it comes to dangerous situations; mostly because he sometimes gets upset with trying to get attention to himself, but he's grown from that sort of. Sal fights with everything he has and never gives up even when he's on the verge of death. He tends to act as a leader figure but never actually gets serious about it.

Position in team: Brawler

Moves: Ember, Flamethrower, Mega Kick, Flare Blitz, Fire Punch, Dragon Rage.

Alright, guys, now that we are all here, what shall be the name of our team?

Nah. Deity sounds too...high and mighty (though with two of you named after ancient gods, I suppose it fits).

How about...Team Justice Gyakuten? Gyakuten means 'turnabout' or 'reversal'...like we turn bad situations around and come out on top?

Yeah, but since the other two of us aren't, it kinda feels unbalanced.

Well, IK? What do you think?

M.O.S.H.: Out for being too simple

Galaxy: Out for sounding too close to Team Galactic

Deity: Out for reasons already stated by Feliciano

Justice (don't try to hide it): Out for being too cliched.

Gyakuten: In for originality and translation fits with plot.
