PMD: The Island of the Unkown

Long ago, in a world of only pokemon, the world was thought just to be one large continent with every pokemon on it. Recently, however, an island has been discovered about one hundred miles west of the mainland. It is about half as large as the mainland, and twice as wide. Many believe it was recenty underwater, for there are barely any pokemon or plants on it. You are one of the Pokemon Rescue Teams assigned to report to Treasure Town Beach, where you will be ferried to the islnd to explore it. This is the opportunity of a lifetime. Be at Treasure Town Beach by 4:00PM one month from now.

This e-mail shows up on your poke-Computer. You start packing, eager to go, but then realize you go in a month.

ONE MONTH LATER ON TV

You are watching television to get your mind off of the trip you'll be taking in four hours, when you see an emergency broadcast.

"Bzzzzt.... H-Hello?" a reporter Magnemite floats onto the screen, with the town of Tresure town shown behind him.
"I am Magnet Myte, and this is an emergency broadcast. A warning as been issued all through Treasure Town, because the island recently located has quickly transformed. Hills, forests, mountains, and volcanos have sprung up in seconds along with pokemon, and herds of Unknown have been seen emerging from the water around it. Here you can see that the Unknown have reached the mainland, and are wreaking havoc. WAIT, WHAT IS THAT?!?"
A loud, high-pitched shriek flies through the air, and a building collapses. The screen turns to static. Another e-mail appears, and you turn to look.

Hello, as you have probably heard, Unknown have been emerging from the island by the millions. You now have a second job. You must venture to the island and find the Unknown's scource, and destroy it. This will be our last transmission until we see you at Treasure Town Beach. Please report quickly.

Pokemon: Tsutaaja, Pokabu, Mijimaru
Names: Ivy, Coal, Maru
Ages: 13, 13, 13
Genders: Male, Male, Female
Team Name: Team V
Personalities: Ivy is one of those "Too cool for you" types, always thinking himself above others. He can get angered easily, and is very stubborn. Coal is easily offended, and good at making friends. He has a VERY bad temper, but rarely gets angry. Maru is shy and normally on the outside of things, and gets scared easily. She tends to sort of freak out over little things.
Appearances: Ivy wears a green headband woven out of poison ivy,which doesn't make him itch. If an enemy touches it, they get poisoned. Coal wears a black bandanna that lights on fire when he uses a fire attack, and helps light up caves and makes his attacks stronger. Miji has a light blue ribbon in her hair, made out of water by a Vaporeon, and it somehow stays together all the time.
Team Rank: Silver
Team History: Team V was created when three different pokemon adventurers got the e-mail, and went out to find a partner. They found each other and formed a team, managing to get to Silver Rank in a month.

Pokemon: Wartortle, Persian and Swellow

Names: Kamei, Mao and Amaterasu

Ages: 13, 16 and 14

Genders: Male, Male and Female

Team Name: Team Swift

Personalities: Kamei - Kamei is a very calm, collected Wartortle, who hardly ever lets his emotions completely take over. He is peaceful, and very brave. He will risk anything, as long as he does not put his teammates in danger. His flaw is his personal loyalty - to save his friends, he would give up the world, because he's so trusting towards those who he is very good friends with. Strangers, he will practically ignore and 'freeze out'.

Mao - Mao is very stealthy and cunning, and along with a super level of intelligence, he takes the brains behind the team. When he is trying not to be noticed, he is never noticed. He's very emotional, however, and when he's alone, he will give vent to them. However, in company, he's dark and curious, and very mysterious. However, despite this darkness, deep down, he's very sweet and funny, but trauma in earlier life has shut away this part of him for the time being. His flaw is holding grudges - he can never ever let go.

Amaterasu - Amaterasu is an extremely sweet and kind Swellow, but at the same time, sort of proud, although she only slips into her pride once in a while. She's graceful and ladylike, and expects to be treated like so. She acts as an overhead scout, surveying the area and then reporting back to her team. When she's feeling sad about something, she suddenly turns outrageously fierce, and will shut herself off, even from her bestest of friends. Forgiving, though, she will forgive anything, even if it was badly terryfying or evil or whatever.

Appearances: Kamei wears a dark blue scarf that was given to him by his parents - an heirloom that had been passed from generation to generation. Also, Kamei's eyes are silvery instead of brown.

Mao wears a black scarf, given to him by his mother before she abruptly died a horrible death. Mao's gem is bigger than other Persian's gems, and has also turned black, like an onyx.

Amaterasu wears a silver scarf, and also has a silver ribbon which is tied in a bow around one of her legs. Also, the parts of her that are supposed to be red are light pink.

Team Rank: Secret

Team History: Team Swift have been around for centuries, lived for ages, and formed years ago. They were bound together, and each learned to work with each other, and soon they became a very reputed team. After being sent an email, they undertook the task to investigate the Unown.

Pokemon: Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander
Names: Bulba, Surf, and Char
Gender: All male
Age: 12, 13, 13
Team Name: Team Trump Card
Personality: Bulba is a quiet and shy Pokémon, but has extremely strong grass type attacks. He thinks for himself, and rarely makes mistakes. Char, on the other hand, acts very rashly and often gets into trouble, but Surf and Bulba always help him out. He also has a compassionate side, and loves to rescue stranded Pokémon. Surf is a very cheerful and loud Squirtle. He loves to talk, and performs crazily in dungeons.
Appearance: Each of the team members wear a small black scarf around their ankle, which slightly raises the power of super effective moves.
Team Rank: Normal
History of your team: One day while playing in a dungeon, the trio were attacked by a crowd of rogue Zorua. After a long, detrimental battle, the three decided that they would work together to protect other Pokémon.

I like using the same characters; it makes it easier to remember all their personalities.
 
Pokemon: Politoed, Whiscash and Umbreon.
Names: Poli, Cash, Reo
Gender: all are male
Age: 14,13,14
Team Name: Polcaro
Personality: Poli is a very fun-loving, bubbly Pokemon that is always looking to have fun and get the best out of life. He can be slightly mischievous though. Comes from a very rich, well respected family.
Cash: Is very talkative and energetic one minute, then very silent and sombre. He is extremely moody and loves basking in the sun, unlike most Whiscash.
Reo is the group leader. He is very well informed and calculated. He always has the interests of his team at heart and hates to make decisions without them.

Pokemon: Mudkip, Meowth, Houndour
Names: Renita, Zero, Flamepaw
Ages: 15, 15, 17
Genders: Female, male, male
Team Name: Team Darkwave
Personalities: Renita: Renita is one beast of a Mudkip. She's the unquestioned leader of the group, always taking control of situations and running headfirst into them. Kind-natured, but she also has a nasty temper. She, in her own words, "is a vigilante against stupidity!"

Zero: Despite having a strong name, Zero is actually a very quiet, soft-hearted little Meowth. He loves his little garden of Berry plants and takes very good care of them. He deeply cares for Renita, his best friend, but doesn't trust Flamepaw very much. He comes through in battle, but would much rather avoid it.

Flamepaw: A cold, distant Pokemon, Flamepaw holds a deep-seated grudge against his brothers. The youngest of his litter, and also the smallest, his brothers tried to beat him up to make him stronger and make him into a Houndoom like them. He escaped from their clutches one night, and swears in his heart to eliminate them all when he finally evolves. He has deep respect for Renita and Zero for taking him in on the night of his escape, and has given them an oath of loyalty.
Appearances: Renita wears a golden necklace with a green gem at the center of it. Zero wears a black scarf with white stripes running horizontally on it. Flamepaw is simply an ordinary Houndour.
Team Rank: Bronze
Team History: Renita and Zero had been best friends since they were children. The two of them became a team by themselves, and met Flamepaw on one of their earliest missions. He had stolen some Gummis from some young Pokemon and it was Renita and Zero's job to bring him to justice. However, upon hearing his story, they took back the Gummis but welcomed him into their team. Since then, they have become a team that is not known for their skill or strength but for their loyalty to one another.
