The world has been sent into a cataclysmic state, and it's all my fault. I should have interfered when I had the chance. Now... this...
I created this world, and it's inhabitants. Of them, I have entrusted duties to specific members, as to govern and protect this place. The beings that inhabit this world, humans and Pokémon, have learned to work together to overcome obstacles, and live to the next day. More than that, they have surpassed my greatest expectations. They cooperate, and with that, make breathtaking creations, overcome the greatest of obstacles, and in the process, make life a little easier. Through pain and agony, through joy and celebration, humans and Pokémon will always stand together, side by side, hand in hand.
Unfortunately, there are those whom abuse this bond. They utilize Pokémon as tools for their own selfish reasons. People of this sort band together in groups, and attempt to achieve the goal through Pokémon. Of these groups, one learned the full destructive potential of Pokémon, and unleashed this potential, at the cost of the Pokémon's emotions and heart. This group calls themselves... Cipher.
Cipher attempted world conquest through these darkened, emotionless Pokémon, they called Shadow Pokémon. A group of two youths foiled these plans, but unfortunately, Cipher wasn't defeated. They rose again five years later, taking the region by surprise. A lone child again attempted at stopping them, but failed. Even with the aid of the Pokémon labs, Cipher had been too much for him. The people lay in hopes that someone else would help stop Cipher, but no one came. With the power of a creature that can easily cause a fourty-day storm in their grasp, they managed to collect more and more powerful Pokémon.
New knowledge of Pokémon with great power was brought to life, and with their own power, Cipher crept closer and closer to gaining these world-changing Pokémon. They eventually overpowered the ones I had assigned to govern the world: Kyogre, Groudon, Uxie, Azelf, Mesprit, Dialga, and Palkia. Then they targeted me. I was faced against the full force of the ones in control of the universe. With little option, I had no choice but to join Cipher, and was stripped of my emotion, my judgement, my powers of protection. I was nothing more than a machine of destruction. I was commanded to show my true strength, but I was too powerful. I obeyed this command, and it cost the humans greatly. The entire human race went extinct, all its creations demolished.
Without control, and with no one to control us, we rampaged, plunging the world into destruction, chaos, darkness. The other Pokémon were forced to live in this world, but they, like with humans, learned to cooperate, and overcome these new obstacles. But if this goes on, we may end up wiping these poor creatures off the world. Someone, save us...
Sorry for the lengthy intro. Anyways, welcome to PMD: World in Discord! This story represents a possible timeline for what may have happened if Michael failed in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. It also explains why there are no humans in the PMD world. You will be playing as either a human, transformed into a Pokémon, and/or a civilized Pokémon from the Pokémon world. This story takes place in a world severely altered by the rampaging Shadow Groudon, Kyogre, Dialga, Palkia, and Arceus, meaning that it's changed much from the original Pokémon world with humans. All that the transformed Pokémon remember is having been a human, and their name. We set off to learn about ourselves, not knowing anything from the past. Things will rapidly change, disasters will strike, and some things won't make sense, hence the name World in Discord.
Now, some healthy rules, so that WE aren't in discord.
If you read all the rules, put 'Scarlet Fang' into your SU.
Now, a sign up form. Just remember to remove the descriptions. You may have up to three characters. If one goes missing, dies, etc. you may make a new one to take its place.

1: No godmodding, bunnying, autohitting, etc. We are good players, not cheaters. Unless you are given permission to control someone else's character, you may not do it. Don't ruin the fun.
2: Be active. If you know you won't be able to post for a while, tell me. If you don't respond in a reasonable amount of time, I will assume you quit, and your character will suffer a gruesome demise.
3: My word is law. If you do not obey, you may not get the chance to defy me again. I'll try not to get power-crazy, and I'll make my orders reasonable. But if I have to boss you around, you did something wrong.
4: All BMGf laws apply.
5: Read the rules. Then forget the 'password', and put something about sushi into the History portion of the SU form.
6: Romance is fine. In fact, I like romance. But, there's gotta be some kind of limit, so that this RP doesn't turn into a porno. Making out? Fine. Sexual acts? Take it somewhere else.
7: No harassing people. We want to make this fun, not a sob fest. If you feel offended by a post, tell a mod.
8: Violence never hurt anyone, so feel free to rock out with it. But if someone here can't handle it, ease off on the descriptive text.
9: Do not progress with the plot without me. You can't just say "Umbreon got all the stuff and saved everyone. The End." I will say when the plot progresses, and it won't end in a snap.
10: If you wanna have your characters partake in a sub-plot of your own, PM me first. The sub-plot may or may not be okay, and besides, I need to know what's going on.
11: Unless I give permission, NPCs are controlled by me. No one else.
