Pocket Monster Japanese Pikachu Card

I'm visiting my parents and I found this card in a box of my old stuff. I know it's in rough shape, and I don't care if it's not worth anything. I just want to know more about, and if someone could explain it. If it's fake, then it's fake.

I couldn't find a picture on the wiki to verify it, but here's a page that can help confirm its authenticity.

The card is from the Japanese Intro Pack, specifically the Bulbasaur deck. This Pikachu is #40 in the decklist, which explains the number at the bottom right corner.

Instead of displaying the numbers ##/## as with all English expansions and later Japanese expansions, these cards have a number inside a circle. Those found in the Bulbasaur Deck have a white number in a black circle, while the cards in the Squirtle Deck have a black number in a white circle.
