Since we are getting off topic on Movie 8, yets talk about any kind of Pocket Monsters or Pokemon Music here..

What is like your favorite Pocket Monsters Music or whats your least favorite?

You are not limited to just Pocket Monsters Music, but Pokemon (Dub) music can be totally added as well.

My Favorites:
Format: Song Title - Artist
Battle Frontier (Akina Takaya version including Ballad version, NOT the PUSA version..) - Akina Takaya
I wont lose - Haruka's Theme: - Kaori (Obviously)
Ready Go! - Naomi Tamura
Chiisa Mono - Asuca Hayashi
Advance Adventure - Garden
Soni sora ga Aru Kara - Toshiko Ezaki
Mamoru Beki Mono (Movie 9 Ending Theme) - Sowelu
Ippai Summer - Naomi Tamura (I think...)
Bouken no Hajimari da!! (Movie 6 OST) - Kaori
Hikari's Theme - Unknown Artist...
Nyaasu no Uta 2000 - Inuko Inuyama
toi et moi - Namie Amuro

I don't like:
Battle Frontier (Dub) by unknown artist (sounds boring and horrible.... totally worse than Lovely Boy... Worst song ever...)
Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon Intro (I like totally hate rap.... like totally the worst song ever...)
Lovely Boy - Very unsuitable for Movie 7, but totally not totally worse than Battle Frontier (Dub) and Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon Intro...

...

Three words:

Team Rocket Songs.

Roketto-Dan yo Eien ni and Maemuki Roketto-Dan, any Nyasu song, Lucky Lucky.

Doesn't get better than this.

Me, I can't wait for the next Nyasu ending. You know it'll come. It's a shame they wasted one on the ninth Pikachu short, although Big Nyasu Day is wonderful.

If anyone would send me a PM containing a Big Nyasu Day mp3, I will shower that person with love.

Please?

So. Does anyone else really like Ready Go!? ^^ All of the openings so far have been awesome! There isn't a bad one among them.

TR songs... eh. They're fun and kooky the first few times you listen to them but I tend to get bored after a bit.

...anyone else waiting impatiently for another Masaze Pokémon Master remake? :p *dodges fruit*

I like:

The Power of One - Donna Summers
Pokemon The First Movie - Pokemon Theme (badass)
Pokemon the Movie 2000 - Pokemon World
Johto League Champions 4Ever Edition
To known the unown

BGM:
The song from the RBY route in Viridian City before the Leauge entrance.
The RBY Wild Pokemon song, and Battle song...gym leader is meh.
The piano song when they leave a town/people.
The song where Erica gives Ash the badge/ When Pikachu runs to Ash.
The inside the gym song from the games (the remix rock one is awesome)

Any Johto BGM
I LOVE the one that was posted here as an instrumental that we were trying to figure out, love it.
The "shining light" as gold calls it.
Team Rockets Johto BGM

Hoenn:
I liked that one song 4Kids ALWAYS kept...the "victory" one.
The battle music in RS was always meh to me.

Japanese:
Battle Frontier
OK (the johto one)

I must say that OK is, hands down, my favorite Japanese opening.

Dub-wise... *cough* I sort of have a soft spot for the Johto Journeys opening, whatever its name is.

Caterpie Dreams of becoming a Butterfree (Dub Only)
I always wondered why we never really heard this piece used

Ash Earns a Cascade Badge (Dub Only)
if you notice in Chronocles this piece was played when Sakura got her badge as well...I think the only two times actually.

Let's see

Almost all of them, because they're so nostalgic.

All of them.

And I don't know if this is allowed or not but, does anyone know where to find the Hoenn BGMs?

Advance Adventure - GARDEN
Lapras ni notte - by Kasumi's VA. I forget her name.
Battle Frontier - Akina Takaya
Together! Hikari no teema -- this one just became one of my top faves. :D
Mesaze Pokemon Master - Rica Matsumoto (the original and both the 98 and 2002 versions).
Soratobu Pokemon Kids - Pokemon Kids
Polka o Dolka - Inuko Inuyama
Minna de Arukou - Rica Matsumoto, Yugi Ueda, Kasumi and Kenji's VAs

Together with the wind - from Mewtwo Strikes Back OST.
Spurt! - Rica Matsumoto
Takeshi no paradise - Yugi Ueda
Maemuki Roketto Dan - Megumi Hayashibara and Kojirou's VA

Dub:

My best friends (don't remember if that's the name ^^;; )
Pokemon Johto
Everything Changes - from the 2 B A Master CD

Yeah, I have too many faves. :p

Anything TR, with the exception of dub stuff, unless it's The Christmas Song. Actually, I hate all dub music except the entire Christmas CD and the first open.
Anything Meowth
Toi Et Moi
Ierukana
Lovely Boy (yes, I like that song)
OK!
Ready GO!
Any non-dub techno remix (save for Butterfly/Pokerap mash-up)
Lucky Lucky (really belongs with first item, but since I'm a James fangirl, I thought I'd include in list...)
Beginnings (would like even if it wasn't Pokemon- I'm a big Puffy fan..)
...there are probably others, but there's so many, I can't think of them all now.

OK!
Spurt
GLORY DAY
Battle Frontier
I Won't Lose Haruka's Theme

And I like that awesome background music for D/P, I think that's the instremental of the opening.

Kasumi said:
Lapras ni notte - by Kasumi's VA. I forget her name.
Mayumi Iizuka?

Kasumi said:

Yup.

The following are my favorites.

In Japanese:
"Kakurenbo" - White Berry
"Mezase Pokemon Master" - Rika Matsumoto
"Rival!" - Rika Matsumoto
"Ok!" - Rika Matsumoto
"Torikaekko Puriizu" - Suzukisan
"Ready Go!" - Naomi Tamura
"Soko ni Sora ga Aru Kara" - Toshiko Ezaki
"Kaze To Issho Ni" - Sachiko Kobayashi & Juri

Not in Japanese:
"What Kind of Pokémon Are You?" - Joshua Tyler
"You and Me and Pokémon" - The Pokémon Live! version, not the 3rd movie CD version! O:
"Pokémon [Dance Mix]" - Vicki Sue Robinson
"I Believe" - 5th opening
"Oltre I Cieli Dell' Avventura" - Giorgio Vanni
"This Dream" - 7th opening
"I've Got A Secret" - from Pokémon Live!
"Just Like A Rainbow" - Kumiko Mori (interestingly enough, I don't care for the Japanese version, "Niji ga Umareta Hi")

BGM/wordless:
[That nameless piano part at the end of the 3rd movie] - Dub
"Namida Nochi Hare" - That sad piano-and-strings song that plays in the first episode during the Spearow heading for Ash after he crashed the bike and is protecting Pikachu; it also plays during Snow Way Out!, when Ash is all like "We'll all be cold together..."
"Inori" - That piano song that played right when they show the painting of the maiden of Maiden's Peak (after the unveiling fanfair and admiring gasps)
"We Have A Mission!" - That adventure-y song in the 5th movie before and during Latios' death; it also recently played in May's Egg-cellent Adventure, during Pikachu's volt Tackle
"Deai to Wakare to" - That song that plays... I don't know when exactly (though usually at the end of the episode), but it's slow yet happy/triumphant, and starts off with a piano and a viola[?] before moving into an orchestra
"Masaki no Toudai" - That creepy song that plays at the very beginning of Abra and the Psychic Showdown; despite the song's name (essentially "Bill's Lighthouse"), I don't recall it playing in that episode
"Lugia's Theme" - Dub; that whole thing with the ocarina that transforms into a one-person orchestra XD
That mysterious whistle song - This one's real short. It plays during Mystery at the Lighthouse, and I also seem to remember a higher-pitched version playing in The Pi-Kahuna, possibly when Victor was talking about people not being able to put flags at the top of that rock.

Also, I like the older background music more than the newer.

I love Chiisaki Mono, Battle Frontier, Hajimari no Uta, Challenger, Advance Adventure, and Glory Day.

I really want Battle Frontier ballad. Anyone have it?

Pokémon BGMs

Does anyone know where to find these, please?
(Most of them are musics in games which are also played in the anime. I don't know if they can be found in the games OST CDs though.)
I'm looking for anime versions of these.

Kanto :
Gym entrance (the familiar theme, heard in "Bulbasaur's Mysterious Garden" when Bulbasaur started charging solarbeam.)
(The background music in "Pikachu's goodbye" when pikachu followed Ash with other Pikachu.)

Johto :
The instrumental version of OK! (heard in "Wired for battle" when Heracross charged towards Scizor)

Hoenn :
Battle theme (Team Magma battle theme in RSE)

I'd be really glad to have those.

Also (though I'm a bit late listing this):
As far as BGM, that creepy Giovanni music. Such memories... such lovely, lovely memories. Anyone know where I can find it?

I'm only doing openings now. If I do background music and nameless background tunes, this post will become a novel.

Battle Frontier (J) (my absolute favorite) mainly because Akina pwned
Johto League Champions (movie verson) - it was like a fancied-up version of the original JLC and it had a mysterious nostalgic feeling to it IMO.
Johto League Champions (tv version)

Battle Fronter (E) - believe it or not, this was the first song I instantly loved. There's just a feeling in the song that's so happy and light.... one of those feel-good inspiring thingies. I'm probably the only one who loves it though.
Too bad it was so freaking short!

Ok (J) - even if Rica Matsumoto did sing it, it was definitely her best best best song. Because I cant stand her singing. But in this song she sounded..... so good. She should scream more often in her songs.

Mezase Pokemon Master (Whiteberry) - this was 100x better than the original IMO, those girls with their cute singing and the rock just made this song insanely cool. I feel this song should be my absolute favorite but I cant stop liking Battle Frontier because I just feel I have to.

Pokemon Symphonic Medley - it's not just the music, it's the video. It's like something that would be in a Disney movie, with it's deep-ness and it's beauty.

Pokemon Advanced Challenge - It's mainly because I dont listen to it much.

Former favorites
I used to love instrumental Spurt but then I listened to it like every single day for weeks and now I'm sick of it.
I also used to love Challenger but same thing happened as with Spurt and I just got sick of it.

Non Japanese/English
Pokemon 1st season (Italian) - it's actually different from all the other openings and it's nice and good to excersize to. It's not a big favorite but it's different from most of the stuff other members will post here.
Pokemon 1st season (Korean) - So gaddam catchy and cool sounding. I have both the video version and the whole version. I just need some LYRICS!!11 If anyone has them, please give them to me.

Now that I'm on a role, I might as well include my favorite endings too
Glory Day - Maybe because I wasn't there for the whole "this song's been on too long for it's own good", I wasn't totally sick of it. But I like it.

Hyakugojuuichi - This is definitely the cutest Pokemon ending. And it reminds me somewhat of this American pop song from the late 60s or early 70s.... however I rather the name be remained a mystery.

Pokemon Ondo - I love this song. I love that 4kids kept it in the background of the Flame Pokemon-athon with the Japanese lyrics clearly heard. I love how funny Ekans and Koffing are. And I love the dance that Misty and her friends do in their adorable yukatas.

Okay I accidently made a big post again..... at least this time I spaced my paragraphs.
Hey, at least I dont spam or do one sentence posts.
