[PocketNews] New Diamond & Pearl Info! Combined with New Ranger Info

Yet again, I must stress how in the world the English version is going to compensate for this. Yet again to have it be a Nintendo tour exclusive, and furthermore you have to have Ranger and another DS in addition to D/P? Granted, a great amount of people want Ranger, and may be getting D/P as well, so that may not be as much of a problem. The biggest problem is the two DSes, because I know many not even willing to get one DS. There is also still the possibility of the download stations somehow making the W-mission available for us. Only time will tell, we haven't even seen any real English translation of Ranger yet.

Well you can't play D/P to get Manaphy in any way shape or form unless you have ONE DS at least anyway. And with the DS Lite, there are going to be many people with the original DS and DS lite to use for such a thing.

There is also still the possibility of the download stations somehow making the W-mission available for us. Only time will tell, we haven't even seen any real English translation of Ranger yet.

The DS download stations are very, very likely to be giving away the Manaphy Egg for Ranger at some point. Possibly for the release of the 9th movie, possibly for D/P's release. Whichever way it falls, this is something that will inevitably reach the US and thanks to the download stations finding their way to the UK and Europe too - we're not going to get screwed over either.

Between online functions and the DS Download Pods we're pretty much guaranteed fair distribution of the unobtainables in this generation. Especially after the pig's ear that Gen 3's has ended up as.
 
Man, people on SPP are "female dogging" over this! Some are saying that this ruins Ranger for them, and they want the Ranger movie to fail?!

Yeah, but with the DS Download Station (Which I have yet too see in my small town), obtaining Manaphy may be easier.
 
It can't fail in Japan, and here, it will be put on DVD, so it won't do well anyway. This doesn't ruin a thing for me because I want Ranger anyway, but I do not have a second DS, nor will I get one. I can live without Manaphy anyway. This only confirms my fears that pokemon will be killed by its own fans.
 
Nah, fans complain about everything. Now that Smash Brothers has been shown, people aren't getting the game because of Snake (or because of Wario).

People complain since the beginning of time.
 
That's true. To hear them talk, they don't want D/P at all, even though it's a new pokemon game, and why? Because it doesn't use the full graphic capabilities of the DS, or it's too much like the other versions before it. I said in another thread that they could just go for MD and Ranger, but yeah, people are insufferable sometimes. I think we saw this connection a mile away, but we didn't know if they would actually do it. MD teases with the statues, and now Ranger gives us the only means of completing the dex without resorting to cheating, although there may be other pokes that will end up being only downloadable. Also of note is that this all but confirms Manaphy to be a legendary akin to Mew/Celebi/Jirachi.

Wait, people aren't getting a game because a certain character is playable in it? Does such gross amounts of idiocy really exist?
 
Hmm...

Whilst Snake's inclusion in SSBB does make me consider the series to be somewhat degraded, it could play host to Jar Jar Binks and I'd still get it just for the rest of the game.

Some of these people are complaining that is only 4 returning characters (They think the trailer shows everyone who is gonna be in it), and Satoshi Tajirii is out of ideas for Pokemon, thats why we have only seen 9 new ones. -_-

Na it doesn't...what people fail to realise is the owner of MGS literally begged Nintendo and the Smash Bros producer to put Snake in before Melee, but it was too late then so they included him in Brawl. Don't see anything wrong with that
 
Melee has Marth, Roy, Kirby & Ness...they aren't Nintendo creations...so I'm not seeing your point :p
 
They're second party. They are still exclusive to Nintendo. Snake is by NO MEANS exclusive to Nintendo. He hasn't even had an original game with Nintendo since the mid-nineties Gameboy Colour Cackathon.
 
They became second party but they weren't all necessarily 2nd Party :p

But still...the creator of MGS begged...he's in it. The end :p

We're kinda driftin off topic here :p
