I read this same stuff earlier -- I was looking for info about the channel switch. Pokemon.com has a press site -- scroll to the bottom of the main site and click on press. Sometimes they have press releases on there... well, actually it only looks like since February. There's one on there about the TV special. It's a pdf -- I haven't mastered how you copy those -- maybe someone else can?

Still good info! Kudos to him for digging it up!

Here is the stuff from the press release Vulpix was talking about

Ugh, the praise from KidsWb gets me the wrong way now that they cancelled the show.

Funny, this press release kind of makes Misty look like a minor character, yet the original synopsis made her look like the main person going along with Ash. Guess they are using the AG cast after all, with a side order of Oak and Misty.

M9 dub title - legend of the Aura Guardian?

>>>It pisses me off that they have a ratings catagory for boys, one for kids, but not one for girls.

Same here. I kept looking all over the place for one.

Na, it was just stating what was in the movie

Nice to finally see where WPM was gettin his info...a press release given this time last week even though all of this info except the May, Max & Brock bit was revealed months ago when we found out about the special

Dr. Yung, the scientist in the special, is kidnapped after he has finished developing his machine. - Yep that was in the original summary from Pokemon Fan magazine

Ash, May, Brock, and Max must save him after he is taken away. - Yep thats new, but conjecture and logic from the Press Release and Picture

The purpose of the mirage machine is to resurrect extinct Pokemon, and is why it has been created. - Yep, that was also in the original summary

The "Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon" has taken control of the machine to create Mirage Pokemon in a quest to create the ultimate Pokemon. The Mastermind believes he can create Pokemon that have no weaknesses. - So was that, even though Pokemon.com refer to him as "the Mirage Master"

The natural balance of the Pokemon world is being threatened. - Yep, that was in the summary too

Smells like WPM is just spinning old info to make it new and getting little tidbits off the Press Release that came out last week (such as the May, Brock & Max stuff)

That's the beauty of press releases, though. They just might not be in the top three fior girls in those age groups, so they won't mention it. There's a few other shows out during that time (I guess....) that are more girl friendly.
