[PocketNews] New voice actors to stay?

They're tone deaf if they thought some of them were a good imitation. As I suspected, they are thinking that by making it more like the JP version, they will attract more of an audience. We shall see if that is true. Conflicting contract agreements? This will need clarification.

They're here for Season 9, but we could still get the old cast back for Season 10 if there are still complaints.

I bet Pokemon.com is very much affiliated with Pokemon USA, so they have to say good things about it for their own sake. :p

"Concerned" is an understatement. With the reaction, of course they are going to be selective on what is concentrated on.

Pokemon.com is being made and maintained by Pokemon USA actually.

All this talk of outrage over voiceover changes...I sincerely hope it isn't true. I like to think the majority of people can accept this...the SOVA campaign and all things related to it are just ridiculous...

Well, it's quite true. Apparently, for instance, the Serebii forums were in an uproar. I pity the new actors.

I wonder, how can any of us make comments the first time we hear them, when they're still getting used to their roles? Yes, they did sound quite bad, emotionless, and so on, but I think everyone flaming them should stop, wait for ten, twenty episodes, then see how they're growing into their characters.

It doesn't matter. Ash could have James Earl Jones' voice and I wouldn't complain. People need to accept the change or stop patroning the show. This sickening uproar has gone on for long enough, and I sincerely hope these people find their heads before severe dementia takes its seat in their minds.
