I had just gotten poke ranch the other day when I found out that it couldn't connect to platinum.:-( But luckily I already have diamond so I thought I could just use that as a "segway" between games. I decided that I wanted to play out platinum before I started to add the rare pokemon to it. So, I went into ranch with my diamond game to withdraw the pokemon that were there then delete the ranch game and start later after platinum was complete.
Anyway, the only pokemon that were there were the ones that Hayley brought in, and I couldn't withdraw them.:bawling:
Can you ever withdraw the pokemon that Hayley brings in or just the ones that you do? If you can "take" her pokemon, how?

Well you can trade her for some ones that she brings, just deposit a pokemon on the wanted board and she might trade.
And welcome to bulbagarden :D

you can't withdraw hayley's pokemon, you also can't withdraw pokemon from another game. and you also can't deposit pokemon from pokemon platinum, because that update isn't releades anywere but in Japan. But my theory is that they are making an HG/SS update in japan, and that one IS going to come out in EU/US

Do you have to deposit pokemon before a pokemon appears on the wanted board?

I think, it happens after you deposit so many, but you can probably find more on the 'pedia article.

Yep, deposit a few and then hayley asks for one that you havent caught yet. Deposit that and hopes she asks for a trade :)

Ranch will eventually work with Pt (it does already in Japan, I dunno what's taking so long with the US release of the patch; likely something with deleting all your Pokémon, though), so don't fret over that.

Just use it as storage for your Diamond now.
