Poke-tats

I probably shouln't say this bacause moderators can't deal with it (they say it's flamebait), but I think having a tatto is stupid in the first place, because you'll probably regret it and lot's of people (perhaps your partner for instance) are turned of by it. Especially by the leafeon one, god that's disturbing... 0.o

Did you mean tattoos in general turn people off? Cause I find my boyfriend's tattoos incredibly hot. Now, if you were talking about Pokemon tattoos, that's debatable. If it's done right, I think it can look very cool too.

lol seen the leafeon one on that site? I think women aren't going to like that one xD

Aside from the oversexualization, I think the Leafeon girl is cute... and one of the worst possible tattoes you could ever get. What the heck was that person thinking?

The second worst offender is the May/Drew tattoo. And here I thought I couldn't be more annoyed by obnoxious and obsessive shippers.

Tribal tattoo mockery aside, I commend the Eeveelution guy (relatively speaking) for stylizing his design. At least it doesn't scream "cartoon magical animals" like most of them do.

I tend to dislike tattooes, but I don't see Pokémon tattooes as any worse than normal ones. As long as they're actually good, of course. If this article is any indicator, most of them aren't. But the same could be said about tattooes in general.

Wtf, people. Tattoos are awesome.

I kinda like the ContestShipping one. It's cute. Same with the Mudkip. And damn, that Eeveeloutions one has style. And the Kingler one; is it from a TCG card?

I didn't infract you for flamebait because of any general comments. You were talking specifically TO someone who had gotten one and flaming his specific decision. That's why I told people to make a new thread. Way to recognize context.

Then there's your insistance that "women" would be repulsed by it.

Anyway, I'm with Sleet--most tattoos suck anyway.

That tribal eeveelution on is awesome.

i would never get them but that one looks awesome.

tattoos in general are not bad depending on what you have, i have my sons name tattood on my arm and have another tattoo booked in for the middle of aug. And not everyone is "turned off" by them people have different tastes. Also it is their body they can do with it what they wish, i say any tattoo is fine as long as it is somewhere you can cover it up. I would not have my neck or face done for exaple as many people do not like that. Also i work as a receptionist for the Local council so i would get fired if i had a tattoo on display.

I don't like tattoos. Things like names are fine. MNaylors stuff sounds okay. Kind of tasteful at least. But I've seen A LOT f stuff that's just way out there and makes me question if people realize tattoos are forever. I mean, you can have them removed, but it's never forever, and it hurts like hell. I'm as a big a fan of Pokemon as the next guy, but i still see Pokemon tattoos and Sephiroth tattoos in the same way. Pretty ridiculous in the long run.

Although, everyone has there opinions on this, I guess.

I agree that pokemon and sephiroph tattoos are not the best of ideas as people change as they get older as poeles likes and dislikes change. I used to be completely against tattoos however as i mentioned beofre i have Lewis tattood on my arm, but that is my sons name and he will always be my son however i might not always like pokemon for example

I agree entirely, that's why I said it was tasteful. :)
I mean, someday Lewis could change his name, but that's a very slim chance. But even though Sephiroth is always Sephiroth, he won't always be trendy or those people might not always like him.

Personally, I find tattoos a little weird, but the small things like names of children? That stuff is endearing.

Fist season Ash scared me. That article defenitley scared me out of my permanant fan stage. I remember when I was little, I wanted a tatoo of Scooby Doo. 0_0 Yeah, Pokemon took over the scooby void when I realized I needed something that actually has a living breathing fandom.

The tribal eeveelutions are okay, but they don't exactly portray anything actually tribally mystical. It's a bunch of mutant puppies Tajiri made.

I'd never get a Pokemon tatoo. If so, just something like ice or waves that I could explain to people has something to do with pokemon. If I got sick of it, it could just be a regular tattoo of waves.

And the ContestShipping one is just creepy and badly done. Adults who ship are okay, but adults who have their shipping inked onto their body is just scary.

Now I have a sudden urge to go get a tatoo of Bowser with shades wailing on a double-neck guitar on a surfboard wishing Rick a happy birthday.

I think those tattoo's are cute..Except for the Leafon anthromorph, that just strikes me as odd.

The Contestshipping one is cute, must be a dedicated shipper.

Mew on a foot?

The tribal one is awesome, but I didn't even notice they were eeveelutions.
....

The Ash one is a bit creepy. The Mudkip one is neat, but a bit large.

It's a shame the person instantly assumed any depictions of Mudkip were references to the meme. It's also a shame that the Mudkip tattoo in the article probably was.

I think most of them were pretty bad. Especially the one that reminded me of Leafeon Lover. O.o If I were to get a Pokémon tattoo I'd probably get a Pokéball behind my ear or a Dragonair on my ribs or a tribal looking Solrock I think.

I'd get a Lop-...Jolteon. A tribal Jolteon on my arm, that would be awesome.

However,I am terrible with pain,so no tattoos for me.

Were those tattoo's made by those guys themselves, they don't seem very professional.
