ooc: Sign-ups are still accepted, but my RP-ers are getting antsy, so here's the start. Currently, the Big Bad leader of the Brotherhood is an NPC, so anyone can control him, but please leave him mysterious until I reveal his identity, okay? Also, I don't particularly care what rooms are in The Collector's Mansion, just as long as they don't break any laws or physics.

Lawrence "The Collector" Gelardan III frowned at what he had seen on the news. Apparently, there was a mostly-organized group of mutants out there that had been killing people, and some had even out-right declared that "The Brotherhood of Mutants" were going to rule over the lesser, normal humans, claiming they were the future. Lawrence didn't like this thought one bit, especially as he was one of the few who knew that their mutations were biological throw-backs, not an evolution.

He pressed a button on his desk, activating an intercom for his mansion, where he had "collected" a few of the nicer mutants he had met, but either needed help with their powers or had been ostracized.

"Excuse me," he started. "Could I have everyone please meet me in the dining hall? I have something I would like to say in person."

Nero knelt before the leader of the Brotherhood.
"My small group of thieves are at your service, sir. They are few, but skilled."
The Leader nodded. "Good. Continue with your normal work until I call you again. Make sure that you leave a mark to say the Brotherhood called everytime you steal, or kill." He commanded. Nero nodded.
"Just as you say, sir." He got up and left.

Back at his rented room, Nero sat at his desk. A member of his group would soon be arriving with a stolen painting. If he did not, Nero would assume he had been captured, and would order him killed.
He opened his book. It contained the most detailed history of the world that could be easily found, and even this had to be stolen from the library. These books were rare.
He of course knew he was superior to other, non-mutant humans. But how had this occured? Evolution? Radiation?
He turned the book to the very last page, the furthest back the book went, and began to read backwards through the book. It was laid out peculiarly, partially since it was a very old book.
It spoke of old pokemon that didn't exist now. One was a powerful Ice type that died out when it's habitat warmed up.
Could they have something to do with it?
A knock at the door.
"Enter." Nero called.
The door opened and closed quickly. The thief, an old galactic grunt, opened his bag full of "golf clubs."
He reached in past the two or three clubs and took out a small portrait. "There you go, sir."
Nero nodded. "Very good. Have it delivered to the client."
The thief frowned. "You don't want to check it's authentic?" He asked confused.
"No. I have something else, more important to attend to." He said, getting up.

Alex sat down with his laptop in the dining hall. He didn't like being around big groups of people, so he had decided to go here.

A message flashed across his laptop's screen, reading: "You are now running on reserve battery power, please insert the computer's charger." He placed his left index finger into the port, and the message disappeared. His finger sent electricity into the small hole in the side of the laptop; charging the lithium battery inside. Alex had designed this laptop for all the special features he wanted. He designed the battery to hold as much energy he wanted, and to convert the perfect amount of energy into it. That job was calculated from a chip in the side of the battery. Alex needed the battery to be stable like this, so he could charge it with this fingers. He could also take the screen off; for a large touchscreen that he could use anywhere. It had all the different connection types in the world, and had a built in camera above the screen.

This was Alex's design, and he wouldn't let anyone else touch it. Besides good, very good, friends.

Dante Cruz, otherwise known to the public as Diablo, Diavolo, Lucifer's son, Satan's child, demon, Diable, and among others, walked in, headphones in. It was a bit loud, loud enough to guess what he was listening to: classic heavy metal. Currently, he was listening to "We Are the Road Crew" by Motörhead.

Alex looked up from his laptop's screen. He quickly took a picture from the invisible camera on the front of his laptop. He'd been doing this to catalogue all of the people that came in. He'd been letting his computer call police files and records up for the corresponding person, then sort them. He was curious what these people had been up to.

His laptop was still at work, and had been documenting everything that matched their pictures and descriptions. He touched the top left corner of it's screen, and it snapped off the keyboard. He dragged all of the finished files into an invisible folder, and then looked around for others that he hadn't yet written a file on.

Miki walked into the dining room as well, letting the petals on her neck show since here she didn't have to hide what she really was. Then again, many thought she was some forest spirit, a fairy, so she had more freedom in public than others but still, had to be careful around many people. "If our boss has something important to say, we'd best be ready to listen." she said. She noticed the flowers in the nearby pot had died. She took the dead flower out and used a vine extending from her to plant another. She kept care most of the flowers in the planets.

Alex glanced up from his laptop's screen again. He quickly let his laptop write the file, and looked into his backpack for a cord. All of the cords and bolts spilled out of his backpack onto the dining hall's floor. Alex scrambled to get all of them.

Dante turned at the crash. He pulled out his headphones, and placed them in his pocket. "Here, let me help." He said, reaching down to assist Alex with the wires. Only to experience a crippling flash of pain from his back, which sent him to his knees and hands.

Alex looked over, and he got up and ran over. "Are you alright?" he asked. He tried helping him up; dropping all of the wires he had held in his hands.

Miki came over. She looked at his back. "I don't see anything...and I can't sense your body giving off any senses that indicate its injuried."

"Damn wings..." Dante muttered, then took out a wide folder. He took out an x-ray photo and held it to the light to show Alex and Miki why he was experiencing back pain. Bones in formation of wings are trying to evolve enough as to get out of his back, which is going to be a long while.

Miki nodded. Knowing he was in pain, she realsed a pheromone to realive the pain, sorta like an anastatic.

"I do have some pain killers...and they're reusable. Just powered by electricity," Alex said, charging one of them in his hands. It grew slightly, and Alex flattened it onto Dante's back. "That should do it...I think."

"Thanks," Dante said to Miki and to Alex, as it did help soothe the pain.

"I can recharge that every once in awhile. When you need it," Alex said, picking up more wires and bolts.

"Thanks," Alex said, dumping the final load in his backpack. He entered a code into his laptop, and then took the top screen off. He swiped with his finger at the screen.

Dante then went to the fridge and took out the ingredients to make a ham, chesse and turkey sandwich.

Alex took a picture of Ryan, and brought up his files.

One of the lightbulbs above Ryan's head went out; Alex went over, and gave it a light shock. It relit.
