How do they work? YOu see a flash on on side a flash on the other and it is there. I have no Idea of what could happen so just say what you think happens.
 
The Pokemon is converted into a data stream, transmitted, and then reconstructed on the other end-just like trading in real life! ;)
 
But that would suggest that pokemon in the pokemon world are digital like digimon which they are certanly not.
 
The games say that pokemon get converted in data.
But I think that they simply get converted into energy.
It is sort of a teleport system.
 
It seems like solid objects can be teleported like in "The Fly" teleporting from one pod to the other. The pokeball can be teleported with a pokemon inside it. Well, in the games, an item can be put into the PC.
