As we know from the new trailer, the RotomDex had a cool camera feat
ure, were you take pics of Pokemon. Think Pokemon Snap, but in the region, and it s all based on the areas you find Pokemon. As you take more pictures, the camera upgrades from the quality of your snaps. Anyone else really excitrd for this? Its like the Habitat Dex, with a tangible and obvious completetion path, it will be an obsessive habit to take pictures of all the Pokemon you can take pictures of, and getting farther into the upgrades surely will be fun.

I love this idea and am so excited to see it in game. I nearly squealed when I saw it in the trailer. After being able to take pictures of yourself in X&Y, I really wanted to see a feature to take pictures of Pokemon, and here it is! And the landscapes in these games look so nice too. I'll probably end up taking a lot of scenery pics, bare of Pokemon, too (if it is possible)

Now the big question is: how many Pokemon can we take pictures of? Will we be able to somehow introduce Pokemon in the overworld to take photos of them? The daycare center would be nice...though a bit invasive when the Pokemon are breeding.

I LOVE this! I loved taking photos in the PokePark games and even in HGSS and this looks like it'll be just as fun. Honestly, this is my favorite piece of information from today's reveals:)

With how beautiful the scenery is in the games, the idea of taking pictures of Pokemon sounds like a lot of fun. Plus, it is the closest to a new Pokemon Snap game that we've gotten, so that alone makes it worth while too. I do hope that we can take pictures of our own Pokemon at some point, similar to the group shots in HG/SS. That would be neat.

I like this. It is a good reference to Pokemon Snap (at least I think it is). Taking a picture of a pokemon like Dragonite really got me hyped a bit.

I wonder if we can edit the photos. Maybe add some props or clothes to the Pokemon in the photo. Or edit the background if you want.

Looks like GF heard the cries of people wanting a sequel/remake or Pokemon Snap.

I have never played Pokemon Snap, and despite this, a sequel with every known pokemon intrigues me.

I had this thought that if we do not get an actual new game, it would be a feature in a future Stadium game. Putting this in an actual main series game is past my expectations.

I'm interested to see what this feature is all about.

What if it is 2-4 spots but the small number of spots have a bunch of diffrent pokemon that randomly show up?

It would give some variety even if there is a small number of trigger spots per island.

You guys had better spam everyone with photos using this. And then find a way to get them on Twitter and facebook and instagram and snapchat and... Anywhere really. This is the best chance we have ever had at building up enough consumer support for a Snap 2!

(Also 37,000th post!)

Pokemon Snap was a fun side-game to me 17 years ago... but I honestly have no clue what the adoration with it is. Whatever little they've done with it here, I'm sure it will be better. No way would I ever even touch a sequel to Pokemon Snap that did not become a full-adventure title, as opposed to a few courses on rails.
