We killed that forum some time ago after no activity whatsoever. ^^;;

As far as your forums go, I'd say you have far too many. When your forums aren't that active, you don't want to have bunches of forums sitting around with no posts whatsoever in them.

I like the layout, although your comment system fails to work.

The banner seems a tad dark for rest of the layout.


You should credit your sources~

Other than that, pretty good. It's built up quite a bit since I saw it when it was a wee little newbie site :)

Yep -.-;; It should have a pop-up window, but for some reason nothing pops up. v.v;;

I find it hard too >.<;; The only sources I'll actually credit is PPN, SPP, or PE2K. I feel that other sites just get there news from them =/ I haven't actually checked the times on PocketNews to compare to the giants yet, but yes, I do check PN. It's pretty reliable ^-^

XD It has grown a lot. I mean, I used to get 1-2 visitors a day XD Now I've got 1600+ unique visitors this month so far! And that's only 14 days so far ^_~ Not to mention that it's really 2300+ visitors.

What you could do is put the news on a seperate .php page and include the layout pieces seperatly. It's what I do with PN because of the different directories and such.

It's a good layout, I'll agree on that. It's just the banner seems too dark for me.

Just say what site you found it at first. ^-^ Because most sites just post it from another place... it becomes impossible to find the first source, and half the time, no one knows what the first source was. XD
 
Hmmm....so if I made, say, news.php and included my actual news, then in turn included news.php on index.php would it work? @_@

Banner- can't say I can do much about it XD

Source- I'll start crediting more aggressively ^-^
 
You could do something like what I do on PocketNews.

I split up my layout into the 2 different files, layout1.txt and layout2.txt.

Then on index.php, replace where the layout coding is with the <? include(""); ?> code. You'll still get the dynamic effect, and then pages that have scripts that need the $id, you can just do a <? include(""); ?> on them as well, instead of using the $id on index.php

Do you get what I mean? It's complicated to describe.

I think it'll be hard to work around though...maybe I'll find an ulternate method.
 
I'd use it! I don't even know how BMG gets along without it 0o;; That's my favorite at PC!

Not to mention the only place I post in SPP XD

It would be really easy actually. And it would actually be your best method.

In fact, I think I'll write up a tutorial about it.
Bring it up in assembly. We can at the very least consider it. I'd have to know there were others who'd use it before I put it up again.

Including layouts on all pages or just the news page? >>; I have your tutorial about including two layout pages on your whole site in the tutorials section of my site XD
 
It's a method of combining the layout split into two different files and Kip-Kip's include code. :)
 
Done with that tutorial yet? XD
