Kira looked across the sea as he gasped at the size of the giant island, it looked more like a city if you saw it well but that was mostly because it was an island separated from the actual school the only thing that connected them was a giant transparent tube. "I guess that must be it right," he said with a serious tone as he looked at the robotic purple bird on his shoulder. "We'll have to see now won't we," he looked at the island with an unemotional look as he grabbed his brown bag and started walking to the exit of the Hoenn Ship
 
"Like the look of our new home for the year." Ty said to his best friend James as they looked at the giant island for the first time.

"Reminds me a bit of the old place." James said after a moment. "But this is going to be a new beginning."

"You are certainly hoping for that. With the whole going by your given name now." Ty pointed out.

"Yep. I'm more mature now. So I figured I'd put 'JT' behind as the old me and focus on 'James' the new me." James explained.

"We'll see how that goes as soon as you meet the new batch of girls here." Ty said cryptically and James frowned at him.

"That sounds like a challenge." James said as he scratched behind the ears of his Pichu, Sparky. "But I'll stay in line."

"We'll see." Ty nodded. "We'll see."
 
"Wow,it looks awesome, I think I might work better with this one than the last one" Jake said cockingly as he looked over at the island.

"Shut up and get your luggage" Alexa said as she lifted off her luggage from the floor. "Jake?" she looked over at Jake who wasn't paying attention. "Help!" Alexa yelled as she fell off the Kanto Ship.

"Now, where should I go," Kira looked around, after getting out of the Hoenn Ship he needed to find the place where he would get his uniform. He saw Alexa falling off. "What's that girl doing?" Kira threw his bag off as he ran over to the sight. "I got you' he slid down as he opened his arms and caught her in time. "You okay?" Kira asked as he looked back up. "That's a pretty good height"

"Thanks." Alexa said and then blush as she started struggling. "Let me go you perv." she jumped off. "Thanks anyways," she snickered, grabbed her bags and started walking
 
"Showtime." Ty said to James as they stepped off the boat.

"Yep." James agreed. "For you at least."

"Right. Says Mr. Commitment all of a sudden." Ty said sarcastically.

"Thanks for your faith in me." James muttered to himself mostly.
 
James and Ty saw Jake and heard his comment about Alexa. "Not to mention she treats the people she does know like that to." James said to Kira in a friendly tone as the two of them walked over to Jake.

"Heya Jake." James threw an arm around Jake's shoulders. "How's it going?"
 
"Damn that sucks." Ty said to Jake. "If they let you, you could stay with us you know. We've got plenty of room and Richie Rich over here." He pointed to James. "Already took care of the rent."

"Richie Rich." James raised an eyebrow. "That's a lame nickname."

"Which is why it suits you perfectly James." Ty joked.
 
"Only two people for one apartment unfortunately we may be able to be with anyone from any dorm but it's still only two" Jake sighed. "I should go get my unfiform see ya later' he waved and walked off

"Excuse me?" Kira asked to the receptionist which was talking on the phone. "Um...where can I find the Blaziken Crimson segment so that I can get my uniform?"

"With me kid." someone padded his back the man looked around his mid twenties he was wearing a red jacket with a black long sleeve shirt under it, his hair was jet black and his eyes were brown. "Elliot Foster, director for the Blaziken Crimson dorm at your service, and you are?"

"Kira...Kira Alvarez" Kira answered with a hint of nervousness
 
"Why is he in such a hurry?" Ty asked James, who shrugged.

"No idea." James answered after a moment. "Let's go say hey to Alexa."

"Sounds good." Ty smiled and the two of them walked over to Alexa.

"You know." James lowered his sunglasses in the same way that he did the first time he met Alexa. "You shouldn't treat every guy like that." James said playfully, making it clear that he was joking.
 
"He just grabbed me like that, I mean I'm happy he caught me but he could've just let me go right there' she said while still blushing.


"Stupid computer!" Elliot yelled as he hit his computer on the back something was stopping him from getting Kira's data out. Kira sat down on the chair.

"If I may," Kira said as he started pressing keys. "I see the program you downloaded has a virus, all right let's do this, replace the old virus blocker, erase the program, download." he just kept pressing keys at hyper speed. "Erase all containing viruses, only one I thought it'll have more, and there' he stopped and showed Elliot the screen with his data. "All done.'

"That was, amazing not even I'm that good with technology," Elliot said since he used to be an engineering wizard himself.

"Just a little talent I picked up, now I have to go get my uniform." Kira grabbed his bag and started walking towards the place were people were getting their uniforms
 
"He was just caught up in the moment Alexa. No need to yell at the poor guy." James reasoned out loud.

"And you would know that feeling James." Ty taunted him.

"Which one. The caught up in the moment one, or the getting yelled at by Alexa one?" James asked him jokingly.

"Both." Ty answered with a sly smile on his face.
 
"I guess you're right...hmp thinking back at it he wasn't have bad" she grinned.

"This uniform looks way cooler" Jake smiled brightly as he put on his new uniform, he saw Kira was trying to get his uniform but there was a crowd of people all around. Jake put his finger closed to his mouth as he wisthled which got everyone to move aside.

"Thanks" Kira said after picking his uniform for the pile. "Oh, you're that guy from before"

"Yeah, consider it my thank you gift." Jake grinned.

"Oh Jake there you are I wanted to talk to you about something," Elliot said as he walked over to them. "It's about your apartment"

"Actually I wanted to talk to you about that too..." Elliot stopped Jake from talking.

"Turn to your right and meet your roommate Kira you turn to the left."
Elliot nodded, they both turned and gasped.

"Him?" they asked while pointing at each other.

"Yep, happy bonding." Elliot waved and walked away.

"Jake," Jake nodded.

"Kira,' Kira did the same
 
Ty and James both laughed. "Wait, you admitted I was right." James said after a moment. "That's not something I would have expected to ever happen."

"Basically, James is glad you're not calling him a moron for once." Ty added.

"Shut it Ty." James said, but his tone was happy and playful.
 
"It's his new 'mature persona'." Ty explained. His tone made it clear that he didn't agree with the whole deal. "He keeps saying that he's left his 'JT' persona and skirtchasing behind, and he wants a fresh start. Kind of stupid if you ask me." Ty added.

James blushed lightly. "I don't think it's stupid." He muttered under his breath. "I just thought it was a good chance to hit a reset button after everything that happened last year." James said after a moment. "Now that I'm in my last year of school, I can't act like the jerk I used to anymore."

"Don't worry about it." Ty said to Alexa. "It won't last a week here with every girl throwing themselves at him."
 
"Well I hope it all works out for ya." James said encouragingly. "Ty... don't even think about it." James said to his friend, who had a sly grin on his face. "You're worse than I am."

"What?" Ty held his hands up defensively. "I wasn't even..."

"Don't even..." James said warningly. "I've known you for years. I know that look."

"Fine." Ty conceded. "I won't. I promise."

"Thanks Ty." James smiled brightly.
 
"Thanks," Alexa nodded.

"Awesome," Jake said as he and Kira walked into their new apartment they were in the highest floor so they could see the whole island from there, Jake left his luggage at the door and ran over to see the view.

"It looks good, right Birdie." Kira said as he looked at his robotic bird who chirped in agreement. "Looks like he likes it too."

"What's that thing it looks cool," Jake said in amazement.

"Oh, this is Birdie I made it myself." Kira answered and let Birdie and Jake look at each other.

"Cool," Jake said as he took out his phone. "So is this your first year?"

"Yeah, I assume you went to the old academy?" Kira started unpacking.

"Yep," Jake threw himself on the bed and started calling James (it feels weird not calling him JT)
