Hey guys I copied the lyrics down from the Extended Advanced Battle Intro:

This is from "Lucario And The Mystery of Mew" film. I'll get the lyrics to the ending song for you guys as well. For anyone asking, the song is sung by the same person, and unlike the films before it's not a remix, it's just an extended version.

Pokemon: Advanced Battle (Extended Movie Edition)
"
(Ohhh a Ohhh a Ohhh!)
I’m Unbeatable

Walking down this endless highway, nothing but my friends beside me
We’ll never give in, we’ll never rest, Advanced Battle is the ultimate test
From the earth, the land, the sea, and sky they can never win but they sure can try

(Ohhh a Ohhh a Ohhh!)
I’m unbeatable
Pokemon Advanced Battle
(Ohhh a Ohhh a Ohhh!)
I’m undefeatable

From the stars, and the ancient past, they come to play but never last

(Ohhh a Ohhh a Ohhh!)
I’m unbeatable
Pokemon Advanced Battle
(Ohhh a Ohhh a Ohhh!)
I’m undefeatable

You think you’ll win, but soon you’ll see, you may beat some, but you can’t beat me

I’m undefeatable

There’s a feeling deep inside me, and it’s always there to guide me
It’s in my heart and in my soul, leading me to the ultimate goal
You can try your best this might be fun, you go down to defeat before you begun

(Ohhh a Ohhh a Ohhh!)
I’m unbeatable
Pokemon Advanced Battle
(Ohhh a Ohhh a Ohhh!)
I’m undeatable

Every move, each attack you choose, you think you can win but you always lose

(Ooohhhhh!)
Advanced Battle – I’m Unbeatable"

The fifth movie had an extended version rather than a remix....

"Before you begun," "before you've begun," or "before you began"? Because the first sounds wrong and is, as far as I know, grammatically wrong.

Nope that's right...it's worded awkward but the way the singer breaks it down and stretches words it doesn't sound as bad. I just listened to it like 3 more times trying to strain my ears for the " 've" but it's not there.

Oh, wow!!

So this is gonna be like, the opening song for the 8th movie (which still hasn't come out yet)?

That is so awesome!!!! :-D

I didn't even know they had made a second verse to the Advance Battle theme. And I was really hoping there would be one, so I'm glad about this.

And by the way, just out of curiousity, how'd you find out about this, Pokemaster Justin?

Wait, you've actually heard the song already...... O_O

Can I hear it please? I mean, can you post a link to where I can listen to the song or something?

I really wanna listen to it, because I LOVE the Advanced Battle theme (it's my favorite Pokemon theme).

The ending song is pretty neat as well, although credit still goes to "Make A Wish" for best english dubbed song...although why only dub half O_o, the singer was really good on that...i'll get the lyrics for this one up for you guys.

Quick question does anyone know who sung "Make a Wish" I heard it was Donna Summers but I want to make sure. Also thanks for the lyrics Pokemaster Justin. I can hardly wait for the ending credits one because I heard it was a real great...

Silly people, the songs are at [HASHTAG]#pocketmonsters[/HASHTAG].

I gotta admit, I perfer the dub ending over the original ending. o.o How odd.

"Make a Wish"
Japanese Version
Written by Yoshiko Miura
Composed and Arranged by
Takahiro Yamautsuri
Lead Vocal: Asuka Hayashi

US Version
Written by Norman J. Grossfeld
Produced by John Siegler
Lead Vocal: Cindy Mizelle

(Copied and pasted from my transcription of the movie's credits)

Donna Summers did sing "The Power of One" on the Pokémon 2000 DVD, though. That's probably why you remembered her.

Yeah i heard it too from youtube.

Some is already uploading the entire movie. Go to the second segment here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECebY4he_AI It's about 4:30 into the video.

Ya that's probably why, also Justin you said it was in Widescreen on ask maddie over at Serebii so Dogasu do you think our version will be the same or different?
EDIT: also Dogasu thanks for answering my question!!

Okay, thanks, mogoldmember (although I already got the link to it in a PM, lol). ^^

I'm guessing he has the Australian DVD.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that......

They released it over there first. XD

And speaking of the DVD, Pokemaster Justin, what kinda special features or extras are on the 8th movie DVD?

I mean, I know that there's like 2 discs, and one of them has the Mastermind redub on it.

But, other than the Mastermind redub, what other extras are included on the DVD?

I'm curious to know if there's an audio commentary on there (that would be so awesome if there is!!). ^_^

Here's what Maddie Blaustein said over on SPP:

Here's a question that might be interesting to all:

In the upcoming Pokemon 8 movie (may or may not answer), do you (4Kids staff and crews) were able to include your "last" audio commentary or that will be, infact, permitted by PokemonUSA?

Well, you see, I thought that, with this situation of voice dubbing replacement, you might have your last commentary.

Maddie Blaustein said:
I don't see that happening at this point, but I also don't really know.
If they ask us to do it --I'll run, not walk into the booth --grab some popcorn and a comfie chair and comment away.

Barring that, when it comes out Ill be happy to participate in a Movie #8 thread with you guys.

Yeah, I remember reading those posts a while back (when I used to go on Serebii more often).

But anyway, I was just wondering if someone could actually confirm or deny that for me.

Although, I have a feeling that if they did make an audio commentary, we would've known about it by now.

Yeah, if anyone does have an mp3 of that version of Unbeatable, I'd love to have it!!!!!! ^_^

:jaw crashes through the floor: OMG! THIS IS AWESOME! I'm picturing how the lyrics go down in my head and IT ROCKS!

I actually watched the YouTube clip (at 4 mins. and 28 secs. into it) and heard the whole version of the Advanced Battle theme.

And I've gotta say, that song is so awesome!! XD

Also, I might just watch those short little clips someone uploaded of the 8th movie, because I am nearly dying in anticipation here (I can't wait to see that movie! It's gonna be great!).

Thought, I'm not going to watch the long 8th movie clip (the one that says Part 2 on it). That would spoil everything for me, cause I wanna wait and see it later when the movie comes out on DVD.

I only watched the part of that clip that had the full version of Unbeatable in it, and that was it.

I'm sorry but this whole movie was seriously some of the finest work I've seen come out of 4Kids, you can hate them all you want, but I urge you all to get the DVD.

Not only was the version I saw presented in widescreen, but the voices were ALL superb...it's like the REALLY stepped their game up knowing this is their last hurrah...and what a note to go out on. The Lucario movie top to bottom, was one of the most interesting Pokémon movies I've ever seen.

Personally, I also found the ending song to not only be more formfitting than the Japanese song, but was actually sung excellent as well...

We Will Meet Again

"Like the mountain I must conquer, like the battle I must endure
I will fight for your honor, steadfast and sure
Some kind of vision fit for a king, and I got a feeling I can do anything

We will meet again, we will meet again
(yeahhh yeahhhh)
We will meet again

I will search the whole world over, if that’s what I must do
I’ll follow every winding road, just to be with you
I got a dream that I just can’t ignore, before I am through I will open every door

We will meet again, we will meet again

And nothing can stop this journey (stop this journey), across this unknown land
And like the fire that keeps on burning (fire that keeps on burning), we will make our stand

We are bound together by fates, set apart by what we found
And we’ll make this sacrifice, cause we know where we are found
Side by side we will ride once again, if we keep the flame alive my friend…

We will meet again, we will meet again (we will meet again)

I will search the whole world over, if that’s what I must do
I’ll follow every winding road, just to be with you
I got a dream that I just can’t ignore, before I am through I will open every door

We will meet again, we will meet again

And nothing can stop this journey (stop this journey), across this unknown land
And like the fire that keeps on burning (fire that keeps on burning), we will make our stand

We will meet again
"

Before Dogasu shreds the movie a new one, the script is solid...I could follow through the whole movie so I care not what was changed or missing...Speaking of Dogasu feel free to use the lyrics on your site if you wish for comparison or the lyrical database.
