I recently purchased Volumes 1 and 2 of Pokemon Adventures from Amazon to try it out and it's great. However, since it was never really released here it seems it's only possible to buy it from America or somehow find it on Amazon at the right time and have it sent here.

The first 2 volumes are on Viz's site - so I assume they still print them, but what happened to the other 4 in the series?

Volume 3 is the highest I can find on Amazon.co.uk and it's only available at £51 at least!

Compare that to the Amazon.com listing where it's available NEW for $11 and there has got to be something frelled up in how these things are getting around.

Are these even still in print outside of Vols 1 and 2? Anywhere I can buy the last 4 that'll take either Switch or Paypal and ship to the UK?

Furthermore, is there anywhere with the same creds for the rest of the Pokemon Special translations not done by Viz?

It sucks that something so good is such a huge bloody pain to get.

Well. My attempt to get the ISBNs for the Viz translations revealed to me that the Viz translations of 1 volume are published in 4 or 5 parts. But then what confused me was that each of those 5 parts seemed to have 200 pages - or 1 volume - and the table of contents listed for one of those parts indicated to me that the content of the whole volume was indeed included.

For a more headache-free purchasing process, perhaps you should inquire into the Singaporean translations published by Chuang Yi. They are current to volume 20 - Japan has only just published volume 21.

Well, my trade paperbacks are labelled thusly:

volume one: ISBN 1-56931-507-8
volume two: ISBN 1-56931-508-6
volume three: ISBN 1-56931-560-4
volume six: ISBN 1-59116-028-6

I've never been able to find volumes four or five, though I found the seventh in a library once. Most bookstores carried 1-3 and no more. An online hunt or a comics specialty shop might yield some bargains. I paid three dollars for volume six. I hope those numbers are useful...

Anyone know of a paypal/switch taking online store that'll ship to the UK for these?

i have volumes 1-3 which is the 1st series and 4-6 im missing one from the Yellow Cabrillo its a great series but Viz lost right to them. ive been looking a good subtitled version online

The PokeSpecial in HK is up to the mid-Gold/Silver/Crystal Arc I think, unless I've mistaken the covers...But duh, who needs translated copies when you can read Japanese! ((Points at sig smugly))

1 - 21. Impressive.

But I am infinitely displeased with my Kinokuniya because I placed a reservation order for 21 before December 24 which is as-yet unfulfilled. Grrr.

i have vol. 1-6 of translated. I originally was getting the 5 seperate vol. 1 but then they came out in 1 volume.
