Let's say that it is the end of the world and the world has ended; it's fallout and everything is a wasteland. Give a list of 5 Pokemon that you would use to survive and why.

1. Tentacrool, since it is Water it can give me water, and since it is also Poison, the murky waters wont bother it
2. Skarmory- My flyer and scouter
3. Linoone- My Picker Upper
4. Venasaur- Bullet Seed and Synthesis
5. Torterra- Guard and living wall

4- Crobat - Flying scout
5- Espeon - Can heal the other Pokémon and itself with Wish

Kyogre- Water and Guard
Torterra- Food and Guard
Arceus- Flying Pokemon and Guard (Yes, he can learn fly. Try it yourself, or go on serebii.)
Cressilia- Healer
Dialga- Guard, and if anything goes wrong, i will tell him to send me back in time.
 
1. Emboar - bodyguard and brute force
2. Tropius - food supply and aerial movement
3. Sawsbuck - land movement and speed
4. Jellicent - water movement and eavesdropper
5. Garchomp - underground movement and Stone Wall
 
Without legendaries:

Walrein- Fresh water and cool on hot days

Houndoom- heat and guard, doesn't need much sleep due to Early Bird, scout

Torterra- shelter, some wild animals will nest on its back, and oh look, here comes some food for Luxray to kill! I suppose we could plant a small garden on its back as well. Did I mention it can learn Synthesis?

Luxray- electricity to live in comfort, scout

Unfezant- flying scout

Conkledurr-To build me a brick house, and be a guard

Accelgor-For GTFOing from vicious pokemon

Eelektross-For electricity

Walrein- for air conditioning, surfing and water

Swoobat-For flying away from this wretched island
 
Tyranitar: Bodyguard, tank, wall, hunter, all that.

Tropius: Can fly, and GROWS FOOD.

Blastoise: Wattttterrrr.

Braviary: Hunter, flyer and scouter.

Blissey: healer.
 
1- Empoleon(Emperor) hunting, water, bodyguard and surfing the heck out of this place.

2- Swoobat(Swift) flying, shooting down opponents from the sky and as a watch-bat for the night

3-Serperior(Alexander) plant knowledge (Knowing which plants are poisonous etc) farming and helping crops grow and general PokePwning

4-Rapidash(Trinity) riding though the land, warmth and fire, scaring bugs away and permanent source of light.

5-Absol(Adrian) night guard and natural disaster preticter.

that's about it!
 
Empoleon: Give me the water I need! Also knows Surf and Cut!
Infernape: Warmth! And for roasting my hidden box of marshmellows that can't be destroyed! Plus, there are 250,000.5 (I ate half of one yesterday) marshmellows in there, so I won't die!
Torterra: Can help pollenate so their will be plants around. Yay!
Espeon: Heals all my Poke and, if there will be no humans, there is only one way that there can be life, and I am willing to use this guy (um, girl).
Spinarak: My guy with Flash! Helps move around in the dark.
 
Arceus - To create another World and perhaps Planets
Jirachi - To wish for my invincibility.

Nuff said
