I guess I'll introduce myself here. My username is old (Didn't feel like making a new account) so I go by Deku most other places, but here Fedora is just fine. I started drawing back in 2012, but most of my stuff consisted of glorified traces of official Pokemon art that I colored in with crayons. I didn't really seriously get into art until 2014, and have been drawing ever since. I draw both digitally and traditionally, and I dabble in spriting occasionally. So here's some of my recent Pokemon art, divided by category.

Digital Art
A more anthropomorphic styled Marowak, that I cropped to use as my icon. I sketched the skull first, intending it to be an image of my Marowak OC (hence the cracks), but that OC is female and this Marowak has a masculine body and lacks a scar on the belly. It's not really a Pokesona either because it lacks other scars that I have, so I guess it's in between.
This was part of a Honedge fusion line idea, but I only ever finished Doublade. My idea was that they possessed the souls of the host, Honedge would just zombify the host, Doublade would take over the host's mind as seen here, and Aegislash would have fused with the host to make a proper Pokemon fusion. Not saying the Pokemon I was gonna mix the other two with because I might finish this someday.
Arc on the Pokemon Discord requested I draw this. It started out as being a 2fab4u Ampharos but then it evolved (no pun intended) into a flirty Ampharos. I don't even know.
I decided to do this to show that you don't need fancy tools to create good artwork. Just takes years of practice. The entire thing was done in MS Paint, from rough sketch to the final image. Also I suck at cel shading.
I've been trying to practice with cel shading more, and this is what came out of it. I'm super proud of it, I did not expect it to turn out as good as it did.
I had art block and decided to do a quick drawing of Iris in her champion outfit.
Litten is my favorite of the new starters, I did this in MS Paint with a mouse because I'm lazy.

This is a practice signature for the one below. I think it actually turned out better, but it doesn't fit me so I didn't use it. The characters are from my current playthrough of SoulSilver, Basil and Adam.
The characters in this one are my two oldest OC's, Steel and Fedora. They are both morally grey characters with depressing as heck backstories, so they fit well together. The quote is from a song called Day of the Dead, by Hollywood Undead.
Mega Lucario sprite I did from scratch, just a bit of practice.
Traditional Art
Has to be one of my favorite pieces that I've done. I used a technique called burnishing to get the color to become so vibrant, it took me an entire days worth of work to do but it was worth it. Not really a fan of how the magic and purple fire came out, but I'm proud of everything else.

Let's be honest, if Pokemon were real we'd all use our electric types for this.
I was going through my desk and found some old pictures I did way back, and decided to remake one. I know they were from after I made my Youtube account in June and before X and Y were announced in January 2013 so I estimated.
