Its very likely a limited release, similar to Movie's 4 and 5 back in 2002/2003.

is this news?? Don't wanna be rude here but the dub has been a drag for me, I wouldn't even pay to watch the dub, I'll just watch the movie when it's on TV

Just because you wouldn't pay for it doesn't mean that others wouldn't as well, and we have users that are also very receptive to the dub.

If I remember correctly, wasn't the last DP movie, the Zoroak one also shown in theaters somewhere? I remember hearing that.

Only three hundred theaters.

Well, I should save some money for the DVDs, then. I'll never get to see it on the big screen, but this at least tells me they're not too far off.

Nice to see they're doing both movies. I was expecting to see only the Zekrom one in english. But with that limited theater release, I probably won't be able to see either... I wonder if they'll be shown on Cartoon Network at some point...

Wow, those movies have crappy dub titles.

Pokémon the Movie: White - Victini & Zekrom and Pokémon the Movie: Black - Victini & Reshiram are awful titles if I'm perfectly honest. I prefered the Japanese ones.

EDIT: Synopsis from the official Pokémon website:
During their travels through the Unova region, Ash and his friends Iris and Cilan arrive in Eindoak Town, built around a castle called the Sword of the Vale. The three Trainers have come to compete in the town’s annual battle competition, and Ash manages to win with some unexpected help from the Mythical Pokémon Victini! It turns out Victini has a special bond with this place...

Long ago, the castle watched over the Kingdom of the Vale, and the partnership between Victini and the king protected its people who lived there. But that kingdom has since vanished into memory, leaving behind powerful relics and ancient Pokémon. Damon, a descendant of the People of the Vale, is trying to restore the lost kingdom with the help of his Reuniclus. His quest has taken him to the far reaches of the barren desert, and he has convinced the Legendary Pokémon Reshiram to join him in the search for truth!

Meh. Damnit that they're going to be in theaters. That means we have to wait even more for them to get released on DVD/air on CN. I don't really care about them, but I want the DVD for the Zekrom & Reshiram moments. D:

Let's see if the theater is smart enough to give additional prizes for watching the movie. Dream World ability monsters for Black and White, Zorua, Victini, an exclusive Pokemon card, etc.

I hope so. I'd actually be motivated to see it if that's the case; one of the perks of living near a big city is that there's pretty much a guarantee that one of those 300 theaters is close by. :b And I'd pay $6.50 to see the matinee of the movie if I did get a freebie with it.

If they do an event, it'll probably be the Special Golurk/Hydragion givaway, or the Reshiram/Zekrom givaway.

pity it not going to be free like the zoroark movie was only reason i got to see that one is theates is that reason and it was in traveling distance by bus from my apartment so yeah i gonna wait for either a youtube upload or a dvd release.
